Felt like I was missing a spot the way I was doing it. Ty Ty for this tutorial.

Flat iron your hair and try coconut, olive, and or tea tree oil. It should work quicker because lice can't survive high heat. If your hair can't handle high heat either I would suggest just blow drying on the highest heat setting with oil and combing the lice out

or sharing a hat, hairband, jacket, bedding, towels, etc.anything that has had direct contact with the infected head can contain them, and therefore transmit them.Kids are especially suspectible since they generally have more contact with other people-hugs, sharing items, laying on carpets in class or gym mats, even sitting on a bus (you can find lice living for short times on cloth covered seats in vehicles or school chairs). Other known risk sites are hotels, pools, even amusement places and parks

I hate my school because it's so infested with headlice. They don't even do live checks for our school because it's middle school and there's over 800 kids at my school and 70 something class rooms. I'm pretty sure I have lice right now, and I don't want to wake my parents up so tomorrow I'm going to freaking nurses office right when the bell rings. I hate my life! 😫😫

When I was in grade school every year they would do a live check and if you had hair past your shoulders you would be forced to wash your hair with that chemical lice shampoo. They forced me to do it at school without even checking my hair. They ruined my hair with that shampoo. When I went home that day my mom wigged out. Found out it wasn't written in the schools rules and of all with no check. They were never allowed to touch my hair again. Now it's a good thing they checked and made sure everyone had clean hair... but to not check someone's scalp and 4 sections is easier that forcing chemicals on hair that didn't need a treatment, was wrong. Needless to say our school had no lice! So that's awesome! But I had hair to my mid thigh. They used 4 bottles of that chemical shampoo then combed through with no cream rinse. I have natural curly hair. Can you imagine what picture I'm painting... hahahaha omgoodness it was toucher, painful, and burned my scalp. My doctor got upset because they used 4 bottles on me all at once, and which was to much medicine at one time. My scalp peeled, my ears peeled, around my head. It looked like a sever sunburn with little blisters all over. My mother hired a lawyer it was that sever. Needless to say I went to school for free for the next few years. Until I begged to be put in public school. This school was brutal! My best friends tailbone was broken from the 5th grade teacher Mrs. Murphy... she paddled her so hard, and the instant it happened you heard the tailbone snap 😦 it was horrible! I'll never forget I was helping the 4th grade reading class. And I ran out of the class and stood in between our teacher and my BF. She was screaming in pain and sobbing uncontrollably. Even the other teachers had to jump in cause she came after me. This school was a nightmare! Most of the teachers were nice except for 2 in elementary. Mrs. Murphy and Mrs. Maljanovich... I swear both those woman were evil! Satan's spawn!!! After this event I begged to leave! The energy of this Christian school was that of a jail. God forbid that I caused all the books on Egyptian history was taken out of our library. God forbid I questioned everything especially logical things... I knew the principal by first name. She was nice and wasn't religious at all. She would tell me to never stop questioning things! She was an angel to me in that school setting! But seriously 😒 it was a nightmare to witness and go through!!!

Maycee Faulk Same. There are about 6-7 kids in our grade that definitely do have lice because it’s so bad you can see bits and the lice digging under the hair. I’m really paranoid that I have it as well, so I’m having my mom check and blaming it on those kids.

Run a curling iron or straightner iron thorough all of your, getting as close to the scalp as you can on high heat several times, finish with blow drying getting your hair and scalp as hot as you can stand it. Make sure you also wash all bedding, dirty clothes, towels, anything that you have worn or has touched your hair in hot scalding water

Lice comb, apple cider vinegar/mayo (to break the glue that the nits have on your hair), plastic bag/shower cap, tea tree, coconut oil, olive oil to cut the tea tree a bit because its very strong smell. Comb you hair everyday after you cover your head with mayo or acv for an hour with bag or shower cap. Comb your hair like in the video. Wash your hair with shampoo with a 2 drops of tea tree in your shampoo. For 1 tablespoon of coconut or olive oil put 2 drops of tea tree. Use this oil in your hair when styling it, it will make your head unattractive to lice in public. Tie your hair up or braid it, wear a high bun, avoid high I g people or taking selfies with other. Just touching head to head can get you 1 bug. You don't want that.

So, I am a guy and would be okay with getting a "buzz hair-cut". Would that make things easier as far as nit picking and hair treatment products? What would happen if I used raid, bleach, or kerosene and then washed it out immediately?

You can use hair conditioner, olive oil can work too. The oil suffocates the lice. Technically any oil can do since it does the same thing

+FlyingDumpling you can also use a hairdryer, a hairstaightener, and a curler it will burn the lice out of your hair and boom it's gone.If you have lice again use it
