Ember has some of the best follow ups, I don’t main her but nsig and s sig are great for reads, s sig can basically read out of anything, nsig hits grounded and if they dodge up it’ll catch. Dsig however is great if ur using slight and then it goes off stage and doge down. So ember is pretty op

@@BushyBushyy Ember is probably the second best and honestly her options are probably a bit safer as a general rule. However Vector just covers more options with his kit. And at higher levels of play Ember side sig stops becoming a dodge out read because you can jump before it reaches you. Also I don't know if people realize this but there was a recent buff to Vector bow side sig it catches earlier now, and that increase was HUGE. It can now catch spot dodge out of side light starting an early mid orange you just have to charge it a bit.

I honestly think it's kinda obvious what Impala is looking for in his mains kit, and Vector just don't have the spicy nsig that Kya and Ember have. I would love to say that's what make the pairing of lance so good, but at top levels that's not going to work for you good anti air options to be on the other weapon.

Experience honestly. I’m not “CALM” but I know what I’m doing. Repeat it over the course of how long I’ve played the game and I can do what I need to to win without sweating.

You can’t expect to make massive gains in elo in a few months or a year. You’ll have to be more realistic about your goal and should try and maintain a comfortable low/mid plat level. There are some basic pointers I could give you. (I’ve peaked at 2100 this season but maintain a steady low diamond elo of 2050+) 1. Make sure you have mastered the vital movement techs in Brawl. Examples are dash jumping, gravity canceling, and platform canceling on the maps with one. 2. Make sure you understand a weapon and what option is safe to throw out in neutral and what option is not. Most pros can play any weapon but have a weapon or legend they have mastered or are comfortable with. 3. Learning all the excellent dodge reads and combos is essential, but learning neutral should be your number 1 priority-the pro player. “Stingray” has a bunch of guides on neutral and punishing, so I suggest you check him out. 4. Do not move around for the sake of moving or throw out an attack that you do not know if it will land. Try to gauge the proper action, and do not mindlessly rush in. That is the first way to beat sig spammers. They are straightforward to react to once you take a breath and observe their habits. 5. Try to have fun and not rage at a loss or a play style. I am guilty of getting angry, but I have discovered that taking a breath and realizing it’s just a 2d game helps. I can’t explain every aspect of what it takes to get out of gold or plat, but I have listed the essentials and hope you can figure it out. Look at the guides for playing neutral instead of a niche dodge read or a fantastic way to clip. You will be able to grow and learn if you dedicate yourself to the grind; you can for sure get out of gold, but try and make sure you pace yourself and do not make an unattainable goal.
