Dear Eli, you all deserve a medal! Watching this seems to prove a theory I have, i.e. when you get cold, the bodies resources are concentrated in keeping your core warm, leaving you immunologically vulnerable and giving the cold virus a chance!!! It didn't look easy; well done, you survived! 🌿💚

I can only imagine how strong those porters must be to carry all the heaviest stuff up there. But for the visitors who do it for the first time, it must be so difficult too. Congratulations to you all!

In order to be a guide, you have to be a porter for a few years. If you experience altitude sickness the guides are physically able to take you down the mountain to a altitude with thicker air.

Porters are always hero on your mountain trip, but if you come in Nepal himalaya you will see and feel more real superior hero of the himalaya.

Thanks for taking me back to Africa. I climbed Kili over 20 years ago. It was surreal. Twenty years ago there was much more snow (glaciers) at the top. So happy you made it to the top. Three of us made it to the top out of four. What an experience! Congratulations.

A memorable moment in my life. What amazed me the most was the robust, tough weight lifter that was a basket case and the little, slender diminutive female that the wind was about to blow off the mountain chugging right to the top from Hebo Camp with no problem. It is all about how your body handles the altitude! A great video from a great traveler.

Being sick is no joke and that is what I am mostly concerned about and not making it to the top. It's incredible what the human body and mind can do in situations like those and I hope I am able to be successful just like you were despite the challenging days. I felt emotionally concerned for you on your day 6. Well done Eli, you are so strong.

This was epic, Eli. I am not a mountain climber, but I did spend 5 days in an amazing cave. It took us 18 hours to descend and crawl our way to the base camp. We (6 of us) spent 3 days cleaning a gorgeous area of this famous wild cave that had been damaged by previous expeditions. We all carried 60 pound packs and carried out everything we brought in including our waste. I loved every minute of this adventure. It took us 24 hours to climb out and the sun was such a delight when we finally were out, safe and sound. We were several hours past our scheduled time and they almost sent in a rescue team! This was my ultimate life adventure. You might try caving next. The caving community is very welcoming. Love your videos. You have made me love Russia and wish I was younger to travel there. Thank you Eli for this wonderful video, this is one of your best ones yet. I felt emotional at the end, not only because of you but because watching you reminded me of some of my own adventures going into the world and how much i would like to go back to someday. I love that you turn your camera away from the landscape for a moment to look back to the people that is travelling with you, the ones you meet and the ones that shared that experience with you thats what make this more beautiful... and also those incredible landscapes of course! My favourite one the sunset (or sunrise?) above the clouds where you are sitting to the left on a rock.

fun fact am from east africa,just to the north of tanzania,kenya and its amazing to see that you came this close. Tanzania have a system called ujamaa (hence stereotype of Tanzanians being good sociable people) which is socialism essentially, this was introduced due to soviet influence in the fight for independence salute to this shared history.

Eli, have you heard of the Four Corners? It's where Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico meet. That region is beautiful beyond belief, the best of the American Southwest. Incredible hiking and tent camping ... striking serene natural beauty and the ancient native American cliff dwellings of the Anasazi. Mesa Verde in Colorado is a great example . Also the current home of the Navajo, Hopi, Zuni and Apache. I would love to carry the heavy stuff for you and be your guide if, if.... I can dream right? Something tells me you would love it. Would make for some incredible videos that's for sure. Congratulations on another great video. You are sure to be a star, if that's what you want. You're unstoppable. 🌹

I suspect that you have returned to Russia by the time this was published. It was a wonderful video and I see that this trip meant a lot for you with your emotions at the end. Congratulations on finishing the adventure. A trip like this is probably 60% emotions and 40% physical. You did great. I have been to Tanzania, and Kenya, on a camera safari and saw Kilimanjaro from a distance. I suspect some of the health issues you experienced was altitude sickness. I used to do recreational flying. The rules were to be on oxygen over 12,500 feet. And a lot of pilots will be on it over 8,000 feet. You never mentioned or showed anyone on oxygen on this trip. Again, congratulations and waiting on you next video.

@@annad6519 The truth is the exact opposite of what you just said. The BAD GUYS in this tragic war are Zelinski, the Neo-Nazi's of Lviv and Azov, and Benjamine Rothschild. The Russian people and the Ukrainian people are caught in the middle. Eli is a vibrant, beautiful, smart, honest, lady. She is the real deal. She is her own person. The guy who gets to marry her after she has finished climbing every high mountain on earth, is going to be one lucky guy.

The Laws you refer to are only there to stop George Soros NGO's. There is actually a warrant out for his arrest in Russia. 75% to 80% of Russia supports this war. They know what is going on and who their enemy is. Go to Russia and say what you are saying and see what happens to you? Not from the government but from normal everyday people. Great video, you really capture the climb well. Some of the terrain was similar to Colorado mountains for sure, maybe some day we will be able to freely travel again to each other's country. Well done Eli! I would love to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. I have climbed 4 volcanoes in the Pacific NW USA. The tallest was Mt Rainier 4,026m. I would like to climb more.

This is super awesome. The experience of a lifetime. Did not realize it was a dormant volcano. I read years ago there were elephants on the lower slopes. 34 staff members sounds like an army. I guess it helps the local economy.
