There are a lot of covers of this song on KZread and many of them are impressive as a technical skills showcase. I'll watch those and give a thumbs up for the time and dedication it took them to learn the song, then probably never think of them again. This one is different because it's an extremely well executed interpretation and it's just enjoyable as music. This is the only cover of this song I've ever heard that I would actually listen to while driving or taking a walk or whatever. Well done.

I have seen many many people try to copy the original and fall short. Even the best players can't do what Johnson does, simply because they're not him, and the song has just so much of his style, of his hands in it. To hear someone instead take the energy of it and play it in their own way, with their own hands, is immensely refreshing. You've done something very special here, mate.
