back then people in awe when someone cover this piece perfectly, now you cover entire instruments, wow ! back then was so easy to pick up a name for a technique such as yngwie for sweeppicking, van hallen for tapping, joe satriani and steve vai as legato and whammy explorer, nowadays, I admit it, there's so many young talented virtuosso in your era, almost have all technique above.

Guy wasn't satisfied enough to cover the song perfectly on guitar but felt they needed to do bass and drums as well. Right on you mad bloke. Keep influencing others with your music

Those two DT covers are absolutely ridiculous. Mind boggling.

The woods are now full of KZread prodigies covering really challenging music. The difference among them is in the minute tonal and performance subtleties (vibrato, phrasing, timing, the mechanics of getting from one note to the next) and this performance nails all of that to an almost absurd degree. Jaw dropping.

If someone showed me this, pretending it was the original, I would definitely fall for it. I can't hear a single difference between your cover and the original. Incredible to say the least.

love Rush! One of my first videos I ever posted was a cover of YYZ

1) excellent job. 2) that shirt. 3) what I really like about the number of covers of this song is hearing them played on different guitars. If anyone ever doubted that guitars sound different from each other, these covers should eliminate any doubt.

Good lord, son, that tone. Just perfect. This took me back to when a friend of mine called me up and said to come over because he'd just taped this guitar player on Austin City Limits that I had to hear (you weren't even born yet, which makes me feel even older, lol) So there we were watching this crappy VHS tape of Eric Johnson playing out of a three inch TV speaker. Such a gift to watch up-and-coming talent today in HD and full stereo at the click of a mouse.
