To the first speaker, it is quite obvious that he starts off with a false premise. It is not the same God. Not in any way shape or form. Muhammad's very first prophecy was that he was demon possessed or gin if you prefer. Either way his testimony of who he is is not consistent with either the god of Moses the god of David or the god of the apostles.

"The Bible states" is not a factor in what is real or not real. I was a Christian for 40 years. It took me years of pain and suffering to escape my childhood indoctrination. I think the issue was that firstly he was assuming that God sent Muhammad, therefore Islam must be true, and I think Cliffe didn't recognize that until late in the conversation. I think to save time, he probably should have said earlier on, "Sir, it sounds like what you're saying to me is that Islam is true because God sent Muhammad AND Jesus. I don't agree with that. If Jesus is really God, then God did not also send Muhammad. God only sent Jesus. That's what Christianity claims. So I think it's very important that you learn to understand the difference between my beliefs and your beliefs." I think the elderly gentleman who was a Muslim was so used to being inside of his own bubble around other muslims, that this was the first time that he ever heard someone say that God did not send Muhammad. He had no idea how to handle it which is why he walked away from the conversation. That's what I suspect was the issue. I think if Cliffe recognized what the man was saying earlier on, then the man would have been able to stay longer and hear more about Cliffe's perspective.

I have watched quite a number of Cliff's videos. It puzzles me that I have yet to hear him call sin, sin, and therefore the reason Jesus had to go to the cross to pay our sin debt in full.

5:28 it's really dangerous to think because many people believe something then it must be truth. Muhammad vehemently disagreed with Jesus about the most fundamental fact about who He is. He is God. He claimed so. His disciples heard Him claim so. Even His haters heard Him claim so. Then He proved He was not nuts by rising from the dead. Muhammad then comes five hundred years later to say "hey God sent me and He said I should tell y'all that Jesus is not God". Yes, many people believe this man but that's the unfortunate issue, not evidence that he must have been speaking truth

People only think within the limits of things that we have discovered on earth, so if we are discussing someone or something that is not of this world, we must proceed with the understanding that things outside of this world do not live by those same rules. Which would suggest that they are able to operate differently than we do. Especially considering the fact that we are talking about someone who made the universe with the structural concept and design of mathematics and physics that we discovered.

Quick questions... Which bible version is the most accurate to the original greek texts that you talk about a lot in your videos? Which bible version do you usually use Cliffe and Stuart? I'm still new to following Jesus and would love to know whole heartedly. I bounce around between different versions and just want to know I'm getting the most accurate text. God bless.

The most accurate translations are the ESV, CSB and the KJV. I personally use the esv the most. However i still like to compare it to the other translations for accuracy

I recommend the ESV and NLT. I use the NLT for devotional reading and the ESV for Bible study. I also recommend the Logos Bible software, it’s a really nice tool for Bible study

For those wondering, the bible says that everyone will be judged according to the light revealed to them. The light refers to truth. So if they never knew the name of jesus they wont have to worry about that standard being applied to them. Think of old testament people as a biblical example. In pracftical terms this applies to people from remote countries or places where sharing the gospel is banned or hindered to extreme measures. Such individuals will be judged by their response to God in their environment (think morality to an extent, creation...).

Born of water is natural birth, spiritual birth is born of the spirit. Baptism is not an act that saves it is an outward showing of the inward commitment to follow Christ.

Hello everyone! I’m a relatively new follower of Christ, I was not raised in the faith, and no one in my friend group made much of an impression on me with their religions, so I’m pretty unfamiliar with what’s appropriate and what isn’t… I’m just curious, do y’all this itd be appropriate for me to watch these videos with my 9 year old daughter? I, of course, will watch the video first to be sure it’s appropriate, as far as cursing and lewd questions are involved. But I fear I may be pushing something on her that is not age appropriate. sounds to me as if you don't understand the problem of suffering david, the vast majority of pastors and theologians realize that if God is "all loving", it makes no sense that innocent babies for example endure horrific suffering.

So nothing is right/wrong in your godless worldview of an unguided/blind/pitiless/indifferent universe (R.Dawkins) born from chance/chaos/nothingness/unknown/stardust (C.Sagan/L.Krauss) where a rock in the road is as valuable as a person, made from the same theoretical primordial material..... But since you refelct the image of God's morality, you inconsistently declare them good/ evil, it logically assumes good exists, necessitating moral law to differentiate good/evil, necessitating moral law giver (the triune God)

Having horrible mood disorders to this day and almost eating a gun 30 years ago means I'm familiar with suffering to some degree, so don't try that with me. I am not saying suffering isn't bad, never mind the philosophers, even the God you dismiss cried at Lazarus' grave. But the question remains, what is so special about humanity -- elderly or infant -- that we should not suffer? You're dodging me yet again by hiding behind the smokescreen of an emotional argument. If God exists, there is a reason for suffering in this broken world AND IT WILL BE MADE UP FOR in the next world -- times infinity. But if you're right that there is no God, then there is NO reason for ANYTHING and therefore no point in complaining about the suffering of babies and no hope for them when they die.

@@davidplummer2473 As i see it david, people invent Gods to try and explain things like "why is there suffering" "what is the meaning of life" and lots of other questions that life throws up. There is a long history of mankind worshipping all kinds of Gods in every corner of the world. If you lived on the continent of America a few thousand years ago, you would believe in the Mayan God, or the Aztec God, or any of the North American Indian Gods, you would have no concept whatsoever of the Abrahamic God. I happen to have been born in the 20th century in a time when science had the answers to lots of life's questions, and even in my short 65 years on this planet, scientific discoveries have answered even more of life's questions. We are social creatures, it's in our best interest to cooperate and get along with eachother. I'm certainly not dodging your question. Do you need a God to tell you that if someone hits you on the head with a rock, that it's a bad thing, or can we work that out for ourselves? Even a dog will yelp in pain and realize that it's suffering and it's not good.

By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, god would sweep you out of existence and He would replace (you by) those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them. Who would say this God or Satan

In consideration of predestination there are some things we do know. Firstly we know it exists because it’s mentioned in the Bible. Therefore God wants us to know of its existence. But why does predestination exist? Why does God predestinate some and not others. But as we know that God knows all things we also know that He knows those who will be faithful to Him. And He knows this before He creates them. If God is to choose those whom He will predestinate, will God choose those whom He knows lack the wherewithal to be faithful to Him, or will He choose those whom He know will be faithful? Surely God chooses those whom He knows will be faithful. Therefore we are compelled to assume that God is predestinating those whom He knows will be faithful to Him. God chooses these ones knowing that they will repent of their own free will, if He gives them a life that makes repentance possible. However if God knows that a soul will not repent He does not orchestrate the life of that individual to be brought to a place of perfect repentance, because He knows that, that soul, would never repent, hence He does not predestinate them. And whilst God is predestinating, nevertheless He does not predestinate unless He knows that souls will repent of their own free will. God does not force repentance upon us. But as we as believers thoughtfully consider our lives we see and understand, if we are honest with ourselves, that without the life we were given that led us to repentance, we would not have repented. Therefore we can say that the orchestrated life by God from birth is necessary, because without it we would not have repented, hence the existence and need for predestination. Perhaps without the Calvinists erroneous understanding of predestination this aforementioned explanation would be not be necessary. But their view is a dreadful view which they arrived at by not realising the necessity for predestination, for without it souls would not be saved. Hence its existence. Whereas the Calvinists believe God arbitrarily chooses but for no particular reason. And their view makes them very lucky and proud that they lucked in and others lucked out.

When Jesus came there were more non believers than believers And everything else is following a religion or practice. When you follow Jesus you are maintaining a relationship with God in the flesh not following rituals and customs that move lips but keep hearts further away God

Hey cliff, I have a question, how come you guys say god has 4 responses to prayer. No, slow, growth and go. We read in the Bible that we as disciples are to do the same things as Jesus even more it goes on! Yet Jesus had no unanswered prayers if it came down to a request or wisdom. He even says to his father before raising Lazarus: thank you for always doing what i ask. We can also take james into account who says that if we haven’t hear an answer on our prayer we are praying simply wrong. Then there are verses as why a good god would give you a stone if you ask for a fish. So why would god let you suffer if you ask for redemption. Besides James says that god is doesn’t let us suffer ! I think miracles,prayer and communication with god should follow us everywhere we go just like it did with Jesus. It’s just that we are so poor in understanding the scriptures. This is my take on the matter though I’d love to hear how you think of it!
