It’s crazy to see the difference of attention span and respectfulness in the different time periods these conversations took place. I noticed in a recent video where Cliffe was with another young guy who was assisting in the apologetics it really seemed like everyone wasn’t really listening to him. Basically, it seemed as though they were waiting until they heard something they didn’t like and totally ignore the rest of what he was saying. The ppl in the background also weren’t as attentive as before; rather, they were having more of their own conversations and seemed as though they wanted to be loud and disruptive to the dialogues. Just an observation I noticed

I agree. But Cliffe is so patient and attentive that he manages to disarm and therefore get through to some people and make them think. I think that's amazing. I wish I had a small fraction of his patience and grace; maybe then I'd be able to reach some. It's a great apologetics lesson. But ultimately all one can do is scatter seeds and leave it God to water and bring forth His new spiritual creation. I'm reminded of the parable of the sower. Many of us are too squeamish about planting seeds because we hate the emotional and psychological anguish we may experience when we engage in apologetics. We are of course right to be squeamish in a sense, because all apologetics are spiritual warfare against a formidable enemy. But also our faith is too flimsy to trust that the Lord will be by our side as we prepare to walk into Mordor.

Because people from previous generation made shows where sassyness is appreciated especially from young people, and then because of that people learnt that sassy=cool and a lot of shows about how people are just "different" and should be given empathy (which is okay on its own, but people like taking the lesson shallowly). So now people are more focusing into destructing one another to feel superior than actually discuss to learn, while at the same time trying to be a social justice warrior.

I limped for 9 years at times bedridden for 3 months every year in excruciating pain. The doctors said I would never walk properly again plus they could do nothing for me. I called out to Jesus to take the pain off of me. He shook my bed. I said who are you. Later I heard, "prepare my house for forgiveness". After I repented of my sins one night immediately after it felt like I was walking on air. I asked Jesus for direction while I was driving my kids to school & at the same time a man walking on the footpath waved at me. I watched through my rear vision mirror as he walked into a baptist church. The following Sunday I went to that baptist church & they called that man The Gardener. Well he gave me prophecy & while he spoke to me i felt spiritual water flow up my legs & into my left hip & I started jumping on the spot. I had no more limp & the church group took us hiking & I could run too. So after those 9 years, I went swimming again. I haven't limped since! I posted evidence for you, when the doctors tested me when I was limping for those 9 years and later they tested me again after Jesus healed me through spiritual water in a baptist church. You can see in the first test says my protein count was 28 over 10, which crippled me; and later it was 8 over 10 which is normal. I read the Old Testament to see the stories of the ancient people who lived back then. I read the New Testament to learn of the Gospels of the eyewitnesses of Jesus Christ and His teachings. I'm on the book of Leviticus on my journey to read the whole bible. The stories are very interesting, and the lessons to learn from both the Old and New Testaments are things I apply to everyday living. Praise be to God, and to His Son who sacrificed His life for us so that we may be free from sin! Cliffe is amazing in the sense that he knows exactly what he's talking about while still admitting when he doesn't know or when he makes any small mistakes.

52:00 I think a really good argument against mythology or other religions like Buddhism is, "Well what do they say that we can prove or disprove?" So for example, the Bible says there was a beginning and there will be an end. Science also agrees, the big bang shows us the universe is 13B years old and started at one point, and physics tells us decay of matter and energy means there is going to be an end (they dont know how it will end exactly, big crunch, unlimited expansion, etc) so if a religion said, "The universe is eternal" or "It will never die." They are incorrect. That religion or philosophy can be prove inaccurate. Same with Gods of the gaps (mythology). "Thunder/lightning was Thor/Odin/Zeus being angry!!!" No, theres scientific reasons for why thunder and lightning occur. The bible never claims anything to the sort of Gods of the Gaps. Its written as historical facts. This is what I saw, this is what they said, this is their actions, this is what happened. Not little red riding hood or a comic book. Now you move onto what Cliffe explains, "Why believe in Christianity over the Qu'ran or Torah?" Well, how did Jesus live compared to Mohammad? Mohammad preached like Jesus did, but he had 14 wives, therefore he was not living out a sinless life as the book they draw laws from (Bible/Torah) commands us to live. Jesus did live a sinless life, he died on the cross forgiving his enemies and over 500 witnesses saw him risen from the dead over the period of 40 days. Therefore he is reliable. Mohammad says in the Qu'ran to one city, "Be peaceful, do not raise your swords!" goes to another city, "raise your swords in self defence!" and goes back to the first city, "Kill the infidel!" How are those consistent? How are those consistent to the teaching of Thou Shalt Not Kill and Love Thy Neighbor as you love yourself, and so on? Jesus never said to kill anyone, he said to turn the other cheek, love your enemy as you love yourself, and dyin on the cross exclaiming, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do!" is 100% consistent with how he taught, lived, and died. Mohammad is not consistent. The Torah / Old Testament gives prophecy of the Messiah, Jesus fits that prophecy. Unfortunately for Jews the same Pharisees that were angry over losing power and money from their followers are the same people who told them and still tell them Jesus isnt the Messiah, that the Messiah has yet to come. We can match the descriptions of the Messiah to what Jesus actually was and we know he was a real person, they dont deny this, its obvious he was the Messiah. For example Isaiah 53:3-6 (Look up Jews for Jesus or ONE FOR ISRAEL Ministry on youtube for more information.) "But how do you rise from the dead, thats unbelievable! Thats false!" Well, if hes the incarnation of God, he can do that. The purpose of his sacrifice was fulfilled, and the promise of life eternal was proven according to his resurrection. If we had a time machine you could get the proof you so desire, but otherwise you're going to have to trust the word and testimony of the 500 people who were there. "But how can I trust that, it was so long ago?" Well, George Washington existed, Abraham Lincoln existed, how do we know about them? From documents written by them and other people. Jesus is exactly the same. "But what if they had motives to make money or get rich or lie to start wars or take down the roman empire?" People wont die for something they know is a lie. None of the disciples or early Christians were praised or made wealthy. They were persecuted, exiled, and killed. None of them recanted on what they claimed to have seen. They were sharing the gospel with people because it was proven that Jesus was God and there is a Heaven and there are consequences for our actions. If you read what they were doing when Jesus was killed, it shows the truth. They were afraid, they were antagonized, "You know Jesus you're one of his disciples!" They ran, lied, and said "No I dont know him! Please dont hurt me!" This is exactly what a person would do if they knew the truth would get them killed. And so on..... We have a rational mind for a reason folks. Read the book. Don't base your understanding of religion on what you heard or how some followers live their lives. Hypocrites are real. Blasphemers and deceivers are real. People like westborrow baptist and the KKK who claim to be Christians yet preach hate and violence are not followers of Christ. Christ taught against racism, hate, bigotry, violence, and so on. Read the book. Decide for yourself.

I've been battling my faith.. Off and on Satanist/Atheist/Agnostic/kinda Christian... I can say Jesus DOES come to you. But, you have to SEE it... My journey started right here on KZread. I was busy doing something and just listening to autoplay.. When I was done, I started watching whatever was on. I got into it. Then, I heard 'Jesus'... and said 'OMG'. I'm watching a freakin Bible movie.... But, I was into it! I started it over and it was pretty good.. Then, I realized they were acting out the Bible word for word! By the end of the 3hr movie, I had chills and finally understood Jesus! A story I've heard 10,000x, this one time, called me and I listened... My question was with all the autoplay I go through, why all of a sudden did a Bible movie come on?

Man that guy, "I didnt feel bad about punching my sister when I was 3. The only reason I dont go around hurting people is because i'll be punished for it. I dont have a conscience." ... dude. The only reason you dont murder people is because jail exists? That is pretty bad. Sounds like a psychopath or sociopath.

I love listening to this. In reference to abortion. I just saw recently where scientists showed when an egg and sperm meet and as soon as they’re one, there is a light that glows as soon as conception begins. I hope you look into it for proof. That alone, hopefully, will change the minds of the skeptics😊

God is all powerful and he could make what we call a square a circle he could change the mind of every living being. A better saying is that he does not contradict what he called good. Matthew 28:18 says all power so yes God can do anything and his essence is Love. God doesn't abuse us because he loves us it's his nature. We are therefore abused by yielding to sin.

I truly pray the young man at around the 3min20sec mark is doing well today and has accepted Jesus Christ as God and his personal Savior! Aswell that he has built a personal relationship with you Jesus! I could feel the anger inside him, the struggle inside him! Jesus, only through you is eternal life with the Father possible! Your love for us is incomprehensible and SO GREAT! You died so that we may live! Please touch this mans heart, where ever he is today! Fill him with such a desire to know you Lord, so that everywhere that he may go hes sees your love and desire to know him, bring him home Father, may that seed your servant Pastor Cliffe planted that day years ago start to grow! I pray this in your almighty name Jesus, BECAUSE ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH YOU, LET YOUR WILL BE DONE, I PRAY, AMEN!!!

@32:53 while the Bible says there is a narrow path to heaven, that does not mean that anyone is excluded, only that if one desires to be with God there is a way to do that but a lot of ways not to do that. Only Biblical Christianity teaches that salvation is by grace alone. All other faiths preach works before redemption.

When we get up in the morning we go to the mirror to see what damage has been done through the night. The mirror just reflects what we are in truth. After we see ourselves in truth from the mirror we go to the water to wash. Same with the moral law the 10 commandments. They show us what we are in truth. Then we go to Jesus/cross to wash.

For people who never heard about Jesus, in their final moments come their judgement day, surely they would say "Lord I'm deeply sorry I lived such a sinful life. I don't want to be separate from you. Please Jesus, forgive me", which is repentance, and calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the exact requirement to get into heaven. Also if you think about it, do you think God would really resurrect them from the dead, simply just to torture them with the idea of death? Or would he do it as a "last chance" scenario? Given how merciful he is, I genuinely believe forgiveness is possible during judgement day. Of course they still have to repent of their sins and learn the true way of living, but they will almost definitely choose Christ, given that final ultimatum.
