In this video, we will be talking about Clever Hans and his impact on psychological research. Wilhelm Von Osten owned a horse named Hans in Germany in the late 19th century. The smart horse could do math problems, spell, identify colors, and much more. The Hans Commission was set up to see if there was any trickery going on, but it wasn't until Oskar Pfungst did his own investigation that it was noticed that Hans was just responding to unconscious cues.
