Plus, Elvis probably didn’t look so hat after having a heart attack as well as being dead for who knows how long. Elvis went to the bathroom at 9:30 am with a book. "Don't fall asleep in there Elvis, " Ginger said. "OK. I won't." Elvis was constipated and trying to have a bowel movement. Around 10am he suddenly felt a pain in his chest and knew immediately that something major was wrong. Elvis attempted to get off the toilet and collapsed onto the floor. He struggled for seconds in tremendous pain and died very quickly. Ginger in the Master bedroom slept soundly until shortly after 2pm. When she awoke Elvis wasn't next to her. She called out to Elvis but there was no answer. Ginger opened up the bathroom door where Elvis was lying cold on the shag carpet. Elvis was almost in a prayer position on the floor - the way his body fell to the floor from the toilet. There was vomit on the shag carpet and his tongue was half bitten off. The way his body had settled, much of the blood settled in his upper torso, creating a dark blue effect. When Ginger called for help after discovering Elvis on the floor, Elvis had already been dead for 4 hours and cold to the touch. There was no chance to revive Elvis. And even if some extraordinary event happened where they were able to restart his heart - Elvis would have been brain dead and on life support.

He felt like crap hours before he past. His cook Mary Jenkins said that the morning of the day he passed, she asked him if he wanted anything to eat and he said no. He just wanted to rest. He apparently sounded like he was worn out and tired and that was like 2 something in the morning so it seems to me like he felt like crap for awhile before he died. Also, I think the passing of his mother played the biggest part in his downfall. He was extremely close to her before she died and he had a hard time dealing with her being gone.

Sadly, after several years of an addiction to prescription drugs - together with his long term dietary habits of binging on awful junk food - Elvis passed away at the ridiculously early age of 42. Elvis follows in the footsteps of so many show biz entertainers, who because of their addiction to drugs died prematurely young.

If offered enough “stuff,”would I step into it or walk away. What would you do? BTW: Who else do you think decided to go into the same Witness Protection Program? Here’s a guess: “Princess Diana or maybe Steve Jobs.” You know, there are others…wait and see 😳

Sammy o' just sharing some info...I believe the story came from the book, the Death of Elvis by Cole and Thompson. However they did try to empty his stomach. They just used a stomach tube instead. Which is gently put into your nostril and all the way down to the stomach. According to Dr. Nick, due to practice of protocol they will not pumped the stomach to prevent any vomitus down in their trachea. Still Elvis was also trying to lose weigh at that time, he didn't eat much. And since Thompson and Cole also said he had vomited on the bathroom floor i wonder how much contents there could had been flushed down the drain using a stomach tube as well. - Anyway just something to consider...
