Took a break from this project, found Cleetus McFarland's channel through someone else, then came back to see a wild Cleetus Cameo! Hell yeah Brother!
What a surprise to see Garret show up and crush that dive to the bottom in that cold water! I love that you two are that close.
Beautiful job! I tiled my outside patio and front entry. 1500sq. My wife and I. Prep and install, materials bid 40k. Our costs 5k. I am 70, she is 68. Price includes ibuprofen.

@@ChandraSlyFoxPateyYou have a beautiful home and excellent taste. I'm not fooled here, we know who made the decisions. Even if the videos assume Mike all the credit! 😂
How you got a Florida man to dive into 40 degree water we may never know, but we do know this Mike, you have engineered, designed and built a spectacular home. It truly deserves to be recognized in some dedicated engineering magazines and those showcasing unique homes. Few may realize your true capabilities but we do. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride!

I love how a man with Mike's money isn't above using Harbor Freight tools. Beautiful house Mike. Thanks for sharing it with us!
The giraffe in Mike's pool. 🤣
Beautiful place,Mike's a genius, what an incredible man,I know very little about him and I'm amazed already
Yet again, I’m commenting to say Matt Risinger has got to do a build show of this place.
The place is coming together really nicely. Not that it would ever be sold but could you imagine the agent explaining the house? “Excuse me you said the pool was how deep and does what?!?!”
Ol’ Cleet impressed the hell out of me with that dive! I thought he was going to come right back up but he made it look easy. Insane! 🦅 🇺🇸 🦅
Let’s goo Cleetus wants a plane
This house is going to be one of the most high quality built homes in America!! Its so impressive to see the thought that goes into every detail of this place. Its truly incredible. A place built for royalty. Then again i'd say the Patey's are aviation royalty.
Is there anything that Mike Patey can’t do! Mike you have unlimited talents, I was in awe of all the airplanes but you can build houses too! Amazing! Congrats on the new house it is awesome! Best wishes to you and your family

Cleetus reminds me of three students at a Bible college in New Brunswick, Canada who went swimming on the ice cakes in the Saint John River just after the ice "went out" in the spring. They were "nuts" is about all I can say. Way to go, Cleetus. Mike, the pool deck is looking great.
Mike you’re an amazing human being! You’re an engineer, plane builder, house builder what can’t you do! Bravo!
Cleetus is going to turn Freedom Factory into a giant pool 😎
For most people 'good enough' is the enemy of 'done'. For Mike 'good enough' is the enemy - get it 'done'. Back to work! 💪
That house is beautiful
You know, the tech is frickin' amazing and all, and the construction is meticulous, but the other thing I notice watching this is just how *tasteful* everything is. Cabinetry, stone choices, right down to the tile pattern on the pool deck. This is going to be an absolutely gorgeous place.
Oh Cleeter gonna freeze little Cleeter off!!! Love you both now back to work !!!
$200k to just lay some tile is crazy! And yes I know it wasn’t just “laying” tile but you can build a nice house for $200k so for labor of finishing a patio is just crazy!
10:52 - I SAY THIS ALLL THE TIME! "Mother Nature wins every time". Mike thinks like I do, I'll take that as a small compliment. Made my day!
Such a beautiful home Mike. You’ve really set a standard with that build and so much thought has gone into each design phase to ensure longevity of the products used. 1st class as always

I love watching every video. No matter the subject, the attention to detail is encouraging. Thx Mike, Mark, and family.
I didn’t know giraffes could swim let alone dive, beautiful work on the pool area mike . You never disappoint.
That's a Florida Man for ya! Looks great!! 🇺🇸 🤘🏻
"innovate Every Day" is our company motto and is on the wall of our design studio shop. You live that ethos Mike and crew- well done!
I really like all of the things that you do (engineering) to prevent potential problems from happening. The attention to detail.
You continue to raise the bar for top quality builds. I really enjoy any glimpse you are willing to share of your life and the projects you take on. Thank you!
Cleetus never fails to surprise. Looks great sir.
I made an outdoor kitchen at home in Wisconsin, I used granite tile bedded in thinset, big mistake the third winter lifted most of the tiles, I pulled all of the tiles and cleaned them up and used silicon to bed them and allowed the silicone to fill the joints as well. Clean up was a little more difficult but it been 6 years and no problems, win win.

I’ve been in the construction trade for 40 yrs. Mike teaches me shit every video, very humbling 💪🏽
You'd be a great General Contractor! I like the attention to longevity details. Congrats, Mike.
Cleetus will take on anything. His ring man and confidant,Squirrel is conferred with as to the risk factor and if Squirrel says no then Cleetus will usually do it anyway. Only $200,000.00 for labor and you decided to make it a home project. At that price I’m guessing they really didn’t want to do it either. What you are doing is above and beyond. It’s April of ‘24 and I think the house is way further along now. Beautiful counter top too. 👍👍🇨🇦
Cleet is the Man! And Mike, your work & skills are impeccable! This will be a great collab for sure
Just plain COOL Mike........... except the cold/pool thing........... I'll wait until it warms a bit then I'll be over. (lol)😁
Great idea heating the kitchen counter for baking projects!
One word comes to mind… “wow”. That is going to be an amazing place to live in. I wouldn’t expect anything less though
I love all the details with that amazing house.

Never heard of heated countertops. Very clever. One more feature to add to the list for my ultimate kitchen.
Thanks for the great video ! You have a BEAUTIFUL home ! 😊
I would LOVE to see a Cleet/Patey race plane beat Turbulence's record. Literally my two favorite channels!

Would love to see more of your awesome new home build.
That’s how you Save Money… Tell them “no thank you” and just do it yourself 🫡 Nothing but Love and Respect!
Really like how you did the counter top. I'll be the envy of the trailer park when they see I went overboard and also heated my toilet seat.
After this, Mikes turns on the heat
That is a SEXY tile install. Like, Damn.
❤I love it when two of my long time favorite channels come together!❤
I was going to say, now you're doing things, well, just to do things, then a thought came to mind. That counter will be capable of keeping your coffee warm on them cold winter days in theory. You sir, and an absolute genius! 😂

Pretty sure they knew the hell they’d get put through expecting perfection in every millimeter. Thats why the price was $240k for labor. Thats the, “I don’t want to do it” price. Can’t say I blame them.

Very impressive craftsmanship. As usual, Mike is at the tip of the DIY spear.

Wow, awesome work and attention to details.
Wow, what a house.
Can't wait to see pool floor...
The tile looks great! I have one suggestion: use the same glasses to see the sun with and put them on when on the deck. It will be just a little bright.
Wow so impressive, what a build! I like to put in two sensors in heated floors, if one goes bad i just connect the other one and don't need to lift the floor or counter because a broken sensor. Learned this from my tile contractor years ago. 😊
When your intro says "we're going to do all kinds of fun things" this is not one that I could ever have imagined. But you're right this is very fun. Thanks for the video.
Man that’s a freaking cool pool!!!!
Amazing work Mike! If you want it done right you have to do it yourself.
Beautiful job on the tile Mike .

Thank you Mike …. Really enjoyed watching progress at your beautiful home
Thanks for posting, your blessing bless us who are watching. So awesome to see a family so blessed, so humble, and hard working, makes me want to work smarter not harder.
230k in labor alone! Someone gave you the “F off” price. Not suprised you did it yourself, I’m sure the quote made you extra fired up to do it.
Thanks for the update .waiting for final reveal
That house and yard and pool and everything is AMAZING!!! Finely crafted and beautiful.
should make more updates to youtube, love watching it!
Amazing build.
Beautiful kitchen table, but why that broad unheated edge, and why only one sensor ? I would have thrown in at least a dosen sensors, just because of how little they cost and how impossible they are to replace. Cleetus has some impressive diving skills. Good show ! The terrace surface looks great. It got me thinking. When archeologists find ancient technology, is that the standard of some ancient civilisation, or just the crazy ideas of one guy ?
Looking amazing! Love the attention to longevity details. Do it right, do it once!
