Nice plow great property. Thanks for showing. We should be getting 10-12" starting tonight! In Ontario Canada, Looking forward to plowing that with my BX23s and front mount blower. Cheers.

I sure wish I had the opportunity to use my equipment to move some snow. Here it is mid January and we have only had a light dusting. Make a pipe for the bottom edge of your blade. Weld ends on it and bolt it to the plow. Make it so you can swing it out of the way for pavement. It won’t mess with the gravel too much

Lot of people mount a pipe to The cutting edge works good until everything freezes down... design it so all you need to do is bolt it on.. that way after it freezes down it is easy to remove

You should send this video off to Snow Sport. Might give them some ideas for modifications to suit this application better.

Good idea. It really works great on a tractor. It’s all I use now.

I bought the Snow Sport this year for use on my truck but with any luck I plan to get a tractor next year. At first I thought snow blower for the tractor, then snow pusher but with your idea I will just use what I already have! Thanks!@@adamj8293

I have one of these SnowSport HD plows for my F150. I also use it on my John Deere 1025R in light now only. tractor has plenty of power to push it.... just not enough traction. Even with loaded tires, weights and chains...it just scoops up to much snow. I love it though. It cuts my driveway clearing time in half.

Great job Adam, must be some heavy wet snow.

Possible creative solution to having both a gravel and concrete driveway would be to attach guage wheels to the plow on the tractor side. Curl function to put weight on wheels and lifting cutting edge off of ground for gravel. Dump function to put weight on cutting edge for concrete. Either way, can still use float function keeping weight over rear wheels for traction.

Nice setup, I've seen videos of people that have taking black sprinkler pipe and cut out a center stripe and weld it to the blade for gravel driveways, but the snowsport plow seems like a winner for this and once the ground freezes you'll be good to go with the other blade anyway. I have chains for all 4 tires, I only use the rear set for deep snow storms, anything in the 8-15" range I just use front diamond pattern chains and have no issues.

I've considered using a 2" pipe on mine. Seen a fellow on here that had it. Kinda wondering if it will easily float on top of a heavy wet snow and not push enough off.

I am north of you about an hour or so we got about 12”. Seeing how that blade works with that size tractor anyone who has a smaller like BX or 1025 or 1725m should consider a blower. Glad my full time house is in AZ. Yah we get snow but we are at 4500 and most of it is higher so I can see snow but don’t have to deal with it.

Another option is to add a rubber cutting edge to your other plow. I currently have a 1" rubber edge on my 6' Land Pride plow and I like the way that works on unfrozen gravel. The wings certainly help with cleanup though. Also, you can try grooving/siping your tires to see if it improves your traction.

I like that idea. I may have to do some research to see what I can find for options. Thanks.

Have you tried to take the end piece off and see if it will plow any different?

Spacers and chains dude. You won't regret it. You can take the spacers out too during the summer.

You need some. Big shoes for. Plow on gravel and makesure. Loader in in float.

I’m looking at snow removal options for our gravel drive… leaning toward the Snowsport right now. Are you still using it and happy with it? Also, what size blade did you get and would you get the same size if you did it again? Good informative video… straight to the point without a lot of fluff.

I have the HD model which is 6’10”. I think the HD gives you the swivel which you obviously want, and the side boards, which I removed. I don’t use it on my truck but do use it on my tractor loader all the time. I have a gravel drive too. The only real downfall is it doesn’t scrape very well because it’s so light. I just make sure I clear snow before anyone drives on it. But being light is also a great benefit with my little tractor. It’s not perfect but I like it and the price is hard to beat.

Thanks Robert. I use Adobe Premier Elements. It's fairly inexpensive and includes a video and photo editor. Took me forever to figure out how to use them, but KZread tutorials are your friend!
