This really rings true when you talk about how people say 'it's so beautiful, I don't want to write in it' But like you say 'Put it to use, that's what it is for'...for me, this feels like one having to own their own worthiness and not shying away from engaging in the practice of writing in this book because it's for YOU and it's YOU is who is was created for. It's a lesson you can apply to your whole life. Your life is YOURS to live, no one else.

Love this practice! I haven't been writing in anything since I filled out a book I made myself last year, but this makes me want to start a new one! I know I felt like whatever I put in the handmade book had to be *perfect* at first, but then I figured just the topic of spells and introspection was very suitable for it, no matter how my writing looked on the pages, and I feel much better about it now.

i have been working on decorating my first bos for a few days and i finally finished! i was planning on cleansing + blessing soon but i was going to go out with my friends today instead. i ended up getting into my first car (with my first car too! im only 16) wreck on the way to the mall (super minor, everyones okay!) but i think this was definitely a sign that i need to do this immediately. im so glad you have a video on cleansing and blessing because that’s exactly what i was putting off! thank you

Baby witch here. Thank you so much for this. I was really anxious because i read online somewhere that you should bless and cast a protection spell before writing in it and you should do it on the full moon to amplify power and the problems were 1) i missed the full moon by a few days and i didnt want to wait another month 2) ive literally done no magic before so i didnt feel comfortable doing an actual spell and calling on deities and stuff, so anyway i was getting caught up in my head but your video helped me realize that it should be a peaceful ceremony and it should feel right to me so thank you❤

I’ve heard Eucalyptus is good for purification so I put eucalyptus essential oil in a diffuser and let my book of shadows “marinate” over night. I’m pretty new to this so I would love to hear your feedback on whether or not this was a good idea.

Is it ok to do this after I've started writing in it? I wasn't aware that ppl did this

When you're blessing your BOS do you have to cast a circle? I keep feeling the urge to use my BOS but I have a fear of starting it because I've read you need to cast a circle and bless it. I'm still very new to all this so I don't want to start spellwork until I've read up on things.
