Cleaning the Pellet Stove - ComfortBuilt HP22N

In this video, I show how to clean the ComfortBilt HP22N Pellet Stove. I perform this process every 4-5 days during the heating season.
We selected the HP22-N model since it will heat up to 2500 square feet and has a larger hopper and will hold up to 80 pounds of pellets. This means we can go much longer operational time and more days before needing to fill it.
Here is a link to the stove we purchased.

One way to get a lot of pellet dust is to buy from a vendor who does not properly store the pellets, because when the pellets get damp, they break down into pellet dust. I had this problem with some Home Depot and Tractor Supply pellets. Hardwood pellets do not seem to be readily available here in Northern AZ.

Nice job. Very informative. I just installed the same stove last night. I like your magnet idea on the side panels.

Yes, the Comfortbilt folks really put a lot of engineering into the stove to insure it is efficient and safe to operate. It uses 520 watts when igniting. Otherwise, the normal operating power usage is only 150 watts.

Hello. Sorry, but I haven't messed with the feed rate settings at all. My stove has been set at the default setting since the initial installation. Since things seem to be working fine as they are, I didn't want to mess something up by changing that. If you learn anything about that, I would love to hear though! Thanks!
