    I have NO ammonia at my house. BUT, I could smell ammonia as soon as you opened the jug. But, it works.

    Me and my wife are so excited to get my dirt from you this week I also bought a extra bag for my disabled veteran father who has always wanted to pan for gold. so you are making his day. If you ever happen to come across a .25 to .50 oz nugget please let me know I want to get one for my father I can find them all over the web but I want to help you.

    Spent hours at the creek getting sand and gravel out of the limestone cracks. got home and processed 50 pounds, about half, and found one small piece of gold. If you do not love the chase dont become a gold panner. At least not in Ohio. Also if anyone thinks this is an easy way to make money better think again. I pulled two buckets, just over 110 lbs, out of the creek to test the area and its work. I just enjoy it.

    3:16 its NOT Canada Store, its Canadian Tire. It is one of the few "Major chain stores in Canada" that is 100% Canadian owned. Tim Hortons is NOT Canadian own, and hasn't been since 1994.

    Maybe set the gold in a mesh bag like you put rice in to throw at a wedding so it will stay together but still get washed without going everywhere in your tumbler

    So, does the tumbling knock down all the little ridges and pits on a nugg?

  • @Klesh

    @Klesh

    10 ай бұрын

    not unless these were in the tumbler for a long time, but this was a concern to me at first. If you put really sharp reef gold in the tumbler, i bet it would knock it down a bit much sooner.

  • @carlmclelland7624
    @carlmclelland76249 ай бұрын

    WELL, that's one way to do it. Now I'm curious, Shane. What would happen if you used tap water and a half-teaspoon of dishwasher detergent. Bare in mind, it's well over a half-century since my high school chemistry class, but... I see the ammonia removed (dissolving) the crud on the gold like BrakeKlean does on grease. (What a terrible thing to do to a Diet Pepsi)... anyway. Maybe try that experiment again, using water and dishwasher soap and see what happens. My prediction is the same result, and you've eliminated that noxious ammonia. Enjoyed the video buddy..............

    @@Klesh man I pay $30 a year and I can get a replacement take something back doesn't matter I break a vise at least 3 or r times a year and get them replaced but if you're a member it pays for itself within a month or 2 of you use tools alot all the yellow and blue tagged items. I think last month I got 2 free 5 gallon buckets with lids paid less than $100 for my jack 4 years ago. I can lift the front of my Ford f150 no problem both tires and it's a 98 4x4 super duty 5.4 v8 it's HEAVY. It would be awsome if harbor freight sold prospecting gear like pans and sluices or at least materials to make sluices if needed. I have tried all 3 of their metal detectors and they down right SUCK. but most everything else is great especially if you're a member
