I use to clean as well. The problem I had was cleaning and clearing tabletops and not knowing where the items needed to be placed. The customers would ask where were they placed. I began thereafter putting items in a box for them to sort. Was that a good idea?

I hate to admit this but when my husband passed away, my house was like this, I hired three women to help me but when I ran out of money they wouldn't come back and never called to check on me. I had one daughter who would drive over a 1,000 miles to help me and another daughter who wouldn't drive 5 miles to help me. People take one look at me and they think I'm perfectly healthy but I'm not. Keep up your kindness to others, it will come back to you ❤❤❤

Grief and depression can be paralyzing. You were there to help him get the process started when he was ready to start letting go of things. Now he has a fresh start. I hope he can keep it up. You're right, it's not so easy in older homes.

To the young man who lives in this apartment: I’m so very sorry your Mom passed away! You seem to be close in age to my son, and I know she would want you to live in a clean space. When you get sad about your mom, start cleaning! I guarantee she will look down on you and smile. 😊

Sometimes, it's just nice to have someone with you as you clean. Its nice.

When I’m cleaning I usually put on a video to play in the background from Midwest magic cleaners or Barbie if it’s one where she’s talking. Because you’re right, it’s nicer to have someone to clean with 😊

Same, and I have to say, I really like these videos a lot. It's easier when there is new furniture and everything is white and perfect to make it look good after cleaning. Barbie tackles homes that are a bit older and not everything can be done, but after she is done you still see how much an old apartment can shine and be comfortable again when it's clean. I think it's a much more achievable goal for many people. We can't all go out and buy new furniture and have a floor that looks shiny and new. But even when the apartment is not in a great condition or the furniture is older it can look like a comfy home that makes you feel welcome.

I'm sure his mother didn't want him living like that. You are Heaven sent, Barbie.

I love it when I hear you humming something…. It’s nice when. People ask about loved ones that have passed. Yes it is difficult at first. But you cherish talking about them. It helps with coping with their passing and keeps your memories of them when they were with you. ❤. My dad passed on the 27th June 2023 I miss him very much. He would have turned 82 just 2 days ago.

Praying for this man to have less depression from his Mom's death. Praying he can keep his home up. You are an angel.

It is so hard to clean after losing your parents, but it has to be done! I've been through 90% of my parents house after they passed away from cancer. I just have one room left and its the largest and most cluttered in the house! Thank you Barbie for all your help!

I'm sorry for the young guy's loss of his mother. Had he lived in this apartment with his mother or was it just the mother's place? It's just that some of that dirt and filth looked like it had been there for years, especially in the cupboards and drawers. I could barely look. I admire you so much for scrubbing and cleaning such places, and for fighting through your fear of the spiders. You are so kind, hardworking, and brave. If he is going to stay there, I hope he keeps it clean now. He should line the cupboards and drawers with paper too. Plain newsprint paper is fine, and helps protect the wood and makes cleaning easy.

Once again, Barbie is tackling dirt that no one else wants to handle! She is a true Dirt Warrior!!! 💪💪💪

There is a purple cleaner called super clean. That will melt right through that dried baked on grease layer on those cabinets. It’s a heavy duty almost commercial degreaser. I used it on a friends cabinets and it saved me hours of scrubbing. Not sure if it’s available where you are.

Barbie I love the no music and just the scrubbing sounds and water sounds. Very ASMR!!! This video was outstanding!! Thank you for sharing with us and helping this young man after his Mother died.

That was so kind of you to help that young man. When arriving at an apartment that has spiders, spray insect spray into the cupboards then shut the door. Come back to it in about an hour. If you have a vacuum with you vacuum them and the webs up. I loved just listening to your voiceover and cleaning sounds; no music :)

That toilet was unacceptably disgusting…. You are a SAINT for even going near that thing!!!! You are truly amazing!!!! 😮😮😮🤩🤩🤩

I’m always amazed how a good scrubbing can make the kitchen cabinets useable again. I know a clean place will help this client feel better.
