replaced wire cart works fine TY
My 36v ezgo motor out of nowhere became super loud and now its having trouble going up small hills. The motor shakes now and cart doesn’t move when i go up my driveway, hills, or anything with small incline. The volt charge of the brand new battery pack reads 35.3 volts now i dont know whats going on with it. Anyone have any advice?
Do you have to take the speed sensor off like you did in the last video to pull the motor apart like you did in this video

I would. Takes under a minute to remove it.
I just took apart my motor and the plates, casing and the armature look to be coated with surface rust. My armature for instance, looks to have rusty gunk in the slots. what do you recommend to remove the rust? Should I pull the stator plates and repaint the inside? Thanks for any advice you have.
How can you tell if the motor on my 36v PDS txt can handle 48v also

I’ve heard that you can swap the controller and solenoid and keep the 36v motor but do your research before putting 48v to it. Your controller for sure can’t handle it and will blow the controller if you put 48v to it.
Did this solve your issue with surging ?

Yes. Had an older club car precedent with the same issue. Just dirty inside.
Can you use break cleaner?

Was hoping to get an answer to that very question? Can you use break cleaner??

No! Brake cleaner attacks some plastics and causes it crack. I mean it will crack in its own. Save yourself headaches down the road and never use it in the vicinity of electrical parts.
Such a shame this was recorded in portrait mode…half a picture!!.
Hi i have an 36v ezgo PDS . the positive wire coming from the solenoid to the positive on the battery melted off at the battery connection point. Do you have any idea what could cause that to happen. thanks

@@jasonjasona1786 replace and drive for a few minutes. Nothing should be burning hot. Terminals, solenoid, etc. Warm is fine. If it burns you figure out why before driving it next.

the cable is missing the cover on about 2 inches of the end that burnt . so maybe the wire needs replaced?
