I've watched a few other "rug cleaning" channels like this but this is the only one I feel is not staged. All the others are the same, cleaning lots of mud and dirt off of rugs. Your cleanings are removing grease, mildew, leaves, insects, etc... as well as you pulling rugs out of the dump. It's what sets your channel apart from the others James. Cheers and Happy Friday!

I have no idea how I ended up watching rug cleaning videos, but I found yours and can happily say that I'm hooked. Despite you saying that you have only been doing it for two years, you can clearly see how dedicated you are to your profession and you blow the other channels out of the water. It's not only extremely relaxing and satisfying for your viewers, but it's also really lovely to see someone so incredibly meticulous and thorough, whilst working really hard and enjoying it! That's no mean feat! Keep up your fantastic hard work James. Ignore the haters, they're just jealous. I've got my family and friends hooked on your channel too! We're all rooting for you in London, UK 😊

  • @SilencedHalo

Thats what I was thinking as well. It looks very damaged, and possibly even painted over. There's a lot of white and curvy designs towards the center, but then the outer rim area theres a lot of deep blue that doesnt match the design at all. Unfortunately I dont think this rug really was worth saving unless there was sentimental value to it, just looks too far gone even when clean

  • @IndigoSpades

I’m wondering if it was an instance where the owner really didn’t know what was under all the muck and was wanting to find out? Maybe wouldn’t have known how simple or cheap it would have been to have replaced it? (Or had some sort of sentimental value of course).

I bet that rug was absolutely beautiful before all the wear and tear on it. Great job removing all that grease!

That may not be wear and tear. I've seen new rugs that were designed to look worn in.

I am not a fan of the distressed look. Why should I waste money to buy a new rug that looks like my old one?

@@capnjohn7455 You don't have to. But obviously some people want them because you can find them for sale.
