How would you get mud dauber nest out from behind a interior vent? I guess the people who had the car before me left it in their garage with the windows down. I have found one behind most of the vents. I am trying to figure out the best way to remove them without getting too much of the dried mud farther down in to the system. Only thing I can come up with is. Put the fan on high and try to break the nests up while also trying to vacuum up the pieces with a little vacuum wand. Thanks for any help you can think of.

Well, you can’t help the rust but the rest of the car has a new lease on life. It’s hard to believe that it’s the same vehicle. I really believe there’s nothing you can’t handle. Top notch work!

Mitch! Thank you so much for sharing your therapy experience! It’s so important for people (men, especially) to normalize speaking about their mental health.
This abandoned car was still in better shape than a lot of owned and daily driven cars I've seen on this channel. It's amazing what some people will put up with in their cars.
I admire Mitch and the work he does. He inspired me to detail some cars as a side hustle. I did my first car today and it was awful. Way more work than I ever imagined. Im used to detailing my own car which is already clean compared to most people’s. I was exhausted after 4 hours in my garage in hot humid Florida. My carpet/ upholstery machine broke mid way. Then a vent louver broke as I was cleaning the vent and now I feeI terrible. I have one more car to do tomorrow. Then never again! Thankfully it’s a bit cleaner and has leather instead of cloth. Best to leave this work to the pros. I’ll just keep my own car clean and enjoy watching Mitch work LOL
The bottle of hand sanitizer sure was a nice touch lmao
Thank you for sharing information about therapy as it's important for people to know someone with so many followers also seek assistance in dealing with issues! Therapy is GREAT !!
I’m lovin the new music
Great job! Fun video as always.
Your videos are oddly satisfying. As a middle school teacher, I sometimes show this as background in my class (I hate silence) because your music choice is soothing. The kids love it. Could you direct me to where I can find these tracks? They are awesome. The kids would love this while working. Cheers
Defintely example of "diamond in the rough" as the saying goes. Mazda, Blue, manual transmission - love it and would love to own it or similar. Next thing I would do is trip thru auto repair shop to have most or all of the fluids changes and checked over then off to a body shop after that. Considering what they get for a brand new Mazda 3 w/manual - could justify expenditure(s) into this one no problem. 👍

Hello I enjoy your channel. You are a brave young man to talk about your mental health and your coworkers at your old job. I appreciate your openness. God bless you. I am sure you have and will continue to help those who have mental health issues.
The Mazda 3 cleaned up well. That color blue is one of my favorites so thanks for making it gleam like that. Maybe someone spilled a bag of bird seed, but it's strange that it didn't get mice like we have seen in other details. The rust was there, but some of the clear coat looked like it was left. I am sorry that your co-workers were mean to you. Sometimes in large organizations, it's like the hunger games. I am so impressed and happy that you got help. That shows not only courage, but determination to make positive changes. That's great to hear. I am excited to see the new Yard Geek video tomorrow. That's gonna be so much fun! Love the photo of the construction site. Have a great weekend, and I will be seeing you tomorrow, at least on video. And that always makes my day better. 💜 #MikeIsMyHero. #MikeEatsBread.

That really cleaned up nice! love that Blue!
Hey Mitch, thanks for sharing your experience with therapy. More people need to talk about it. I've been there, done that, and it helped. Also, another amazing detailing. I'm always impressed with your results and work ethic.
Every time I watch you detail a vehicle I am even more impressed with the energy you put into your work. I have learned alot from the way you do things. You are a perfectionist and that personality trait shows in the final reveal. Too bad you are so far away for those of us stuck here in the United States.
In a way your detail videos are like therapy , something about watching a filthy vehicle be transformed into something that looks like it just came off the showroom floor .
That was an amazing transformation. Even tho the rust can’t go away, the car still looks magnificent!! Great job on the Mazda and have an amazing weekend everyone.

Heyy my mum had one of these same year and colour except it was a hatchback! It was our shared daily driver for 6-7 years then it got passed onto my brother, who unfortunately got into a crash not long after getting it and wrote it off :( It had just over 200K kms. Great reliable cars, its so cool to see one being detailed. In Australia interior is almost exactly the same except for steering wheel controls and seats are slightly different
I have an '07 3 also, quite satisfying seeing my interior get cleaned thoroughly

Awesome job on cleaning up the Mazda 3 it looks great
These are my favorite details, an abandoned vehicle, forgotten and abused, transformed back into its’ near showroom look.

I agree 100% with what you said about therapy. Thanks for sharing your experience! I've had anxiety issues my whole life and my OCD triggered Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia after working in retail for a few years. After getting help from two amazing therapists, I'm now doing better. I'm an independent contractor that delivers medical supplies and more now. I never thought that I could be so happy with life. Doing my own thing has helped so much and I'm glad it did for you, too!

Great job! Fun little cars to drive!
5:06 I know unwinding hoses doesn't typically go that way, but that's still such a mood either way..
oho and it's a manual too! i loved my first-gen hatch, rust and all hahah miss it everyday.
Great video! I love that you include mental help info, I watch these to actually de-stress. What is the background song in beginning of video? Thanx.
I have cleaned a few car over the years and I have never seen sand like in this video, spread out evenly and resting on top of the carpet, dirt usually sit in layers and you have sections where the dirt naturally would be more pushed into the carpet, like where people rest the legs, some layers are compact while others are more loose. Are you trying to make the cars look worse than what they are and how do you keep your sneakers that clean?
Never blinked so much in my life.
Where is the wand extension in the products you use ?? Ty. Love the before and after !!!
I hope someone was paid to take that away. That vehicle would not pass it's annual safety inspection in the UK. The cill/rocker panel would need to be welded, as would the rear arches and drivers door (No structural rust or sharp edges to body panels allowed) plus the failed transmission. Candidate for the breakers. At least the salvaged parts would be clean!
Excelente, saludos desde Colombia!!!
I am a huge fan of your channel and your details! What is some advice you can give me as a beginner detailed?
GREAT JOB😊
Thank you Mitch. We just bought a used Mazda 3 similar to this one and took it in for a wash too but after seeing how much extraction you got out of the seats we will need to do that to. Do you do headlight restoration on your detail services too? That would be interesting to see how you tackle that. Cheers from Oregon!
