What a cool story Mitch about the Dad having owned the truck originally. That pretty much explains how over 20+ years it never got cleaned. That blue is beautiful. That skunk Mike should have loaned you some shorts for the majority of the detail instead of you having to work the long hot night in pants. Glad you took some time to sleep and rest up for the 2nd half of the detail. The owner was thrilled with the end result. You did an amazing job! Have a well deserved turn on the couch!!

My dad had a 1990 Chevy Silverado 1/2 Ton 4 on the floor with the 5.7l he bought brand new for 15k. He owned it for over 2 1/2 decades and put over 320k miles on it. The most reliable truck I've ever come across. He sold it (still running fine but leaking oil out of every seal) to another gentleman who was going to use it for snow plow duties. To say he got his monies worth out of it was an understatement.
