Danny is unboxing and building the mid-size Luggable DIY CR box from CleanAirKits, the Luggable XL - 7 SickleFlow.
This DIY air purifier is powered by seven (7!) SickleFlow PC fans come with everything you need to build it, except for the filters. It doesn't use any screws, so we found the build faster and easier than that of the Nukit Tempest BUT it doesn't feel as durable as the Tempest.
We are going to publish the review for this air purifier in a few weeks, so make sure to subscribe to get a notification once it's live.

12:02 the putty knife (or simple dinner knife) is CRUCIAL for getting the filters in for me; I also started using a lot of black duct tape to help with sturdiness and make up for any air space I ended up with

I only realised after trying it without but it’s key.
I was really considering this before I settled on the Air fanta 3pro from Adam Wong. Glad you're comparing these. Hope we can get a head to head in the future 🙏🏾

Had the same idea, will work on this after the reviews are out.

I have both and they definitely aren’t apples to apples! I love the AirFanta 3Pro for price and ease of assembly but only plan to use it on full power in rare circumstances since it’s so loud. (Like if someone is sick or if I need to clean an unoccupied room quickly after workers have been in my house, etc.)
5:48 I promise I hold the world record for slowest assembly time on one of these kits. (Yet I keep coming back for more) 😅
For anyone who doesn’t want to pay $200+ for flimsily hardboard.. look up DIY shop air cleaners most typically involve a box fan and square filter

Those DIY shop air cleaners are great but often will run much louder due to the fan they use. But certainly much cheaper to build I agree.
Hi, thanks for the video. Wasn't there some sort of plastic "grill" for covering the filter faces? This was the piece I had the most trouble getting on the first time, and I am dreading changing my filters out because I will have to take those pieces off and on again without shredding the MDF.

There is a grill you can buy but it was extra and didn’t come with my kit. I did find the grill bit challenging so taped it down to make to a little easier. They do say you don’t have to use the grill if you don’t want to. I don’t think it looks bad with just the filters as the filtrete ones look pretty pro.

We've expanded the slots a tad on the grill frame so new ones slip on/off easier.
