Clean-up of the Hudson River Culvert during Low Tide

In this video I revisit the culvert that dumps into the river during low tide to make a better attempt at clearing it. I brought help and we did a pretty good job.
I apologize for the audio issues that occurred after my camera took a bath.

You need a chain saw. Little brother is doing a great job . Jumping on that log like he was 12. To many tires in the creek that's a shame. But you did a great job. Thanks for filming it

The Hudson River runs through the Munsee/Lenape, Mohican, and Mohawk, Haudenosaunee homelands. Prior to European exploration, the river was known as the Mahicannittuk by the Mohicans, Ka'nón: no by the Mohawks, and Muhheakantuck by the Lenape. That was a massive cleanup thank you so much. I'd imagine in back the 1800's fur traders would use the river system to trade furs etc. Thanks for sharing your video.

In this episode of "2 Brothers and a rake". Gentlemen, truly an awesome job here. The water pressure helped get a lit of the debris clear. May I make a few suggestions, first get some good work gloves, never know what's in that debris. A small chainsaw would come in real handy on some of the branches. Again great work guys.

You both seem to have engineering brains. I like watching you work, but I want to join you. A rope and a winch , or even a pry bar, would make quick work of those logs. Thanks for helping out your community!

Maybe one day! I was recently contemplating a winch and a car battery!

Great Job! I didn't think you guys could make a dent in that mess, but you proved me wrong. After watching numerous videos of uncloggings, it Disgusts me that people can use a smart phone but not understand how a garbage can works! Where's Greta when you need her?

Now, many companies manufacture battery operated chain saws, are you allowed to use one ? Volunteers as yourselves are priceless, continue the great work you are doing, I thank you !!

Great video! As for the tires I’d haul them up to the side of the road for the DOT to pick up. I’ve seen it done in other video! Keep up the great work!

Job well done. Amazing at what water will move. When you send the big stuff down into the river, is there a possibility it can get jammed under another bridge?
