    Great video, and thanks for showing everyone they can really do this at home. The only other thing I like to do, especially for when I do things myself, is paint mark the bolts after everything is torqued to spec. That way, after a break in period, it makes it easy to check if anything comes lose. Can't wait to see what it can do on the trail!

    I have the Clayton Overland Plus 3.5 kit on my Ecodiesel. Love it! I agree about the sway bar links, they suck!! They like to loosen up too, so watch that! I ended up ditching mine after a while and just put AntiRock sway bars on instead.

    Great work Cara! Your build is looking sweeeet! Question on the torque wrench. It looked like Matt torqued the back before he let the jeep down which is the opposite of what he said to do on the front. Does it matter on the back like it does on the front? Love these I formational videos. My gladiator is still stock but I’m itching to do suspension at some point.

    I’ve been looking at this exact lift hard for my puck lifted JLU. I’m running 35s now, but the ride is pretty rough. I appreciate the “no maintenance” of the Clayton bushings…and the completeness of this kit. Now, Falcon or Fox shocks….hmmmm.

    Matt and Cara, do you think you’ll have any issues with the 37 on the spare mount? I noticed you already have the MOPAR hinge reinforcement, but will it support it??? I’m guessing so, but OEM stuff is sometimes… dumb

    Can 37 inch tires fit in the rubicon extreme recon without a lift? Would you have to re-gear from the 4.56?

    Yes and no. Will they fit, yes. Will they rub, yep. So it was a no for me. I’m not planning to regear currently. I won’t say never.

    Hi Matt and Cara love your channel! The Clayton lift looks great but it looked like the front bump stop was really close to the spacer you put in the spring. Maybe just the camera angle? Can’t wait to see it in action!

    Yeah. My extreme recon package had bump stop extensions and we didn’t take that into consideration. We are fixing it.

However, I did not order the front or back bump stop extensions. Will I be okay running 37's? When you say you were going to fix this, did you remove ALL the Clayton extensions or did you replace the factory jounce stops?

    @@bennera5132 I left the factory ones in place and ended up cutting the Clayton extensions down to about an inch and half. That seems to be perfect up front. I haven’t changed anything in the back.

    Great video as always! I was ready to think about doing this myself until I saw that the sway bar end links need to be cut. That is not something I could do. Do you know if Clayton has addressed this issue with Jeeps? Also, in the comments, you mentioned that the bump stop issue is "being fixed" because of the XR package, but I am unclear what needs to be done? Thank you!

    Those types of sway bar end links are very common to save money to just have one sway bar end link for all the different lift heights. I'm only using the bump stop extensions that came with the XR package. It's working great!!

    I love my Clayton overland plus kit on my gladiator! Didn’t have too much trouble with the end links, just the initial quick cut that was it pretty much. Looks great though!

    @@OzarkOverlandAdventures We did it! Well, I mean... the parts are ON the Jeep and all the old ones are removed. I just need to go back and do it all CORRECTLY after everyone has left now. Man, if you poorly install a lift kit, the Jeep is literally a death trap! On the plus side, everything has bolts through and nuts threaded so I can just lift, loosen, align, lower, torque everything and I should be done. Maybe two more nights of work and I can wheel this weekend with MHJC!!!
