Claude Monet’s House and Garden Walking Tour - Giverny, France
The Fondation Claude Monet is a nonprofit organisation that runs and preserves the house and gardens of Claude Monet in Giverny, France, where Monet lived and painted for 43 years. Monet was inspired by his gardens, and spent years transforming them, planting thousands of flowers. He believed that it was important to surround himself with nature and paint outdoors. He created many paintings of his house and gardens, especially of water lilies in the pond, the Japanese bridge, and a weeping willow tree.

Merci Beaucoup! This retired fashion illustrator/floral designer and now painter really appreciated this wonderful walking tour! The next best thing to being there! I have the cookbook, "Monet's Table" and also "Monet at Giverny". When I was in Paris and the rest of France many moons ago, Monet's house and garden hadn't yet been restored. Saw his great Water lily paintings and others at an exhibition in Boston at the BMFA in 1998 which was also amazing! "Heaven on Earth" indeed! May he rest in peace~

Thanks for the feedback. In general, stroll through videos are called walking tours.. at least on KZread. :-)

Being there in person is nothing like seeing it on video. It’s highly recommended if you love Monet’s paintings :-)
