well aware that this vid is 7 years old & I'm not going to get a reply, but is there a way to enter formulae using the plus-or-minus sign? I can't seem to get the classpad to accept it, which is interesting, given the other two applications I've tried for it (matrices and the binomial theorem) have led to it having a tanty, too...

The +/- symbol is not a mathematical operator in ClassPad. Although the calculator has a pretty large character set, many cannot be used in a mathematical sense - just for notes or other display.

THANK YOU. You are a life saver, I love your videos. I just got a Classpad fx-CP400 and was wondering if it's possible (through eActivity or programming) to solve physics equations considering every possible equation to solve a specific problem, for ex.: all the possible equations to solve a projectile motion problem: displacement, velocity, acceleration... I'm not sure I'm making sense. I want this program to consider every equation in a kinematics/dynamics/center of mass or whatever problem and return a solution for every unknown variable given known ones. Thank a lot.

Hi - I agree that Casio not the best at answering emails, or fixing bugs. I hear that another minor OS update may be out in 3-4 months with some bug fixes. I suspect there are not many engineers working on Classpad in Japan!

Hi. If you have an eActivity saved and you mess up part of it (ie you delete something you didn't mean to) there are two options when still in the eActivity: 1. Tap File, Reload; or 2. Tap File, Open and find the eActivity and open it again. Hope that helps.

Some ClassPads seem to get a bug, so that variables become hidden and interfere with copies of NumSolve in an eActivity. The only fix I know is to save your eActivities onto a computer, use System - Initialise to wipe the Classpad and start again. You could also first try changing the variables in your equation and see if that works...
