Classifying Types of Chemical Reactions With Practice Problems | Study Chemistry With Us
In this video, I will explain each type of chemical reaction you need to know.
I'll show examples of synthesis or combination reactions, decomposition reactions, single replacement or single displacement reactions, double replacement or double displacement reactions, combustion reactions and acid-base neutralization reactions.

💁♀️ HI I'M MELISSA MARIBEL
I help students pass Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I used to struggle with this subject, so when I finally graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, I became a tutor so that you wouldn't have to struggle like I did. I know that with the right help, YOU CAN LEARN ANYTHING!

Through following these videos I have now ascended to nerdhood. My third eye has opened and I now float above you all with my superior knowledge......or I've gone quarantine mad, one or the other.

I wish I had found your videos sooner. Big help. Two tests so far, and not doing so hot, I plan on keep on going with the class, but still am worried I won't pass. I love the way you teach. It is easier in many ways to how my teacher teaches us on our Zoom classes. She records the lectures, but I don't always have time to sit and watch them the whole way through because of work.
I am very grateful for your videos. I don't know how you do it, but you always find a way to explain things in the simplest way i can comprehend. I hope you don't stop doing this because this is truly a gift we are all thankful for you have.
your teaching way is awsome

I dropped chemistry last semester and am so nervous about passing. Hoping your videos will help me when I take it again in the fall! I keep thinking im not smart enough and makes me worry even more for ochem!! You are so well spoken and im looking forward to watching more

I learnt naming chemical compounds in school but we used another method. But the method she use now makes me a lit faster than the others!! Thanks!!!!!!
i'm really seeing some progress in my chemistry area.. thanks again
I see all these comments from so long ago but I just want to remind you how amazing you are for these videos. I wish I had watched them before because I went from getting F's to A's plus bonus points on my quizzes
Love your video and the practice problems at the end.
This video helped me so much for my quiz tomorrow, thank you !
Thank you so much for your help! Great review for my exam today!
it's been 4 years but you still help students :> thank u for this!
I have been watching your videos since the beginning of the of my course and my grades have gone from a C to B thank you so much for helping me understanding more. Hoping to get and A on my next exam.
I want to thank you for posting this video. It’s helpful 👏👏
Holy crap! I have already followed her on IG and KZread. I’m taking chemistry this semester and I searched a topic and I found your channel and she was on here with you making videos. So cool! How do you guys know each other??
I love you so much. You make learning chemistry so much more fun :)
Omgg Best day of my life when i got your video In my recommondtion
I am learning chemistry on my own and it has greatly help me out to connect with a class-like setting on KZread. Upon looking at problem 1 closely, I think I caught an error on your part. It seems to me that problem #1 isn’t balanced. Shouldn’t the reactant be 2 au cl3, rather than 2 au cl?
I appreciate you. respect from India 🇮🇳 keep it up. 👍
so good! These videos on Chemistry have been saving my life. Although I found your videos late in the semester I'm hoping there is still hope to pass 😭 and hopefully miraculously bring my grade up a little.

I'm doing fine in Chemistry. And the credit is all yours! I just need your help on Quantum Numbers and Orbital shapes. It is kind of confusing. Actually, due to self-isolation in India, I'm studying without a teacher. To be precise, I'm doing it on my own. I need ur help!! Please save me! SOS!
Best explanation 👍👍👍👍
Hey Melissa, Do you just tutor for chemistry? I’m kind of needing a stats tutor for summer
i am so so so bad at chemistry its my absolute worst subject but coming across your videos gives me hope that i can understand!
Awesome teaching
Thank you, Melissa for making it easier to understand! If I could transfer my tuition fee to you, I would 😂

why is that C+O2->CO2 but 2Mg+O2-> 2MgO. my question is why does the “2” im CO2 carry over but the 2 in O2 for the mg one does not carry over?

Cs2CO3(aq) + H2SO4(aq) Cs2SO4(aq) + CO2(g) + H2O(l) What type of reaction it is?
Could someone explain why at 5:09 that the SO4 gets paired with the Ba on the products side rather than S staying with the Mg and just the O4 getting paired with the Ba on the products side? So why is the equation MgSO4 + Ba(NO3)2 --> Mg(No3)2 + BaSO4 and not MgSO4 + Ba(NO3)2 --> MgS(NO3)2 +BaO4?
