The cab details look superb and the tender is looking great the right side look pretty detailed look great. Just got my stealth version in the mail today, I absolutely love it. It has a beautiful finish and weighs like a die cast engine. I need more Bradley Osgood and County cars.

Yep, another lovely streamliner that we cant get in the UK unless we pay through the nose for shipping, import duty and 20% vat on ALL of that. i.e, £450 turns into £650. No way... its a shame BLI , MHT et al dont care to give us a dealer at decent prices. Thanks!! Oh and dont mention that Mech something store, who charge exactly the same as it costs for an individual to import themselves.

- I do appreciate you saying that. I am not from the UK, but being from Canada I deal with the same. - VAT does reduce the cost somewhat (example a OO Gauge wagon that was say 29 pounds, will go down to 23 pounds). - The dollar difference with the exchange rate kinda sucks as well. - Sometimes I have been charged customs tax, and sometimes not.

What do they sound like going fast, like 50 smph?

In all fairness, outside of brass, BLI is considered the cream of the crop for steam

Way over priced. Wont attract newbies to the hobby.

I would argue this ain't a noob's first purchase. Every once in a while, you run across that retired doctor or banker who laughs at the cost of this ... so I guess it's all a matter of perspective.

@@persistentwindI agree, especially if brass is involved in the construction, then it’s definitely NOT for beginners. Heck I’ve had model trains for years and I still don’t trust myself with brass stuff.

It would be a good recommendation that newbies stay away from bli in general, they're considered cream of the crop, and they have immense detail

Why does everything new and high end have to cater to noobs or those on a budget? Do you also get mad your average person can't afford a new Ferrari too?? There are a range of budget options available including older BLI locomotives that are available on the secondhand market including a Paragon 1 version of this same loco.
