Along with what Sam said around 16:00, I also think this song is the best combination of the three groups’ concepts so far. It sounds experimental like both NCT and SHINee and sounds cosmic like EXO. This song is an excellent combination of their personalities and their concepts. Also what’s the point of this song isn’t in a soundtrack for an upcoming Avengers movie 🎥

@@ulismeilina going into the stand alone monster chorus is what would make the most sense based on the progression of the pre-chorus (which is pulled from that track) so they were expecting something aligned more with that sound, BUT they weren't aware before listening that it's a combo of two songs, so it going into the chorus of infinity (a vastly different track) instead was not at all what they were prepared for so they were shocked😂

I thought about it! However, unlike when Sean and I (Umu) film, each react pair has a very limited film time. Sean and I were able to react to the two songs separately, re-listen many times, and then dissect how One was created since we film at our own apartments. I knew going into the full crew reaction that the project would be on the complex side to handle, so I just chose to show them 'One' ! Glad you had fun watching their reactions to the chorus :)

SM loves to experiment with their songs and concepts and sometimes makes too risky moves . one thing i have noticed in their songs is that their boy groups title tracks [all of them ] have hard-hitting bass and beat to it .with groups like shinee, exo and superM they have more vocal driven songs . NCT have more rap -driven songs . i love monster more than infinity since monster is more catchy and has more bass . and infinity has more power in the chorus and their hybrid takes the best parts of both songs and makes it a little too much for a regular listener . that's why i find monster better . but both are good .
