i really think Wendy is the biggest factor why red velvet can have different concept,, since concept is heavily based on what kind of music they will release. wendy really giving the red velvet more ground in both red and velvet concept.

@kurt I want to say that their groups are not as well known as for example BTS or Blak Pink, I even listened to BTS first but I didn't like them anymore, luckily I found in Super Junior and Exo something new that I liked because it was different now I like them all A As I got to know what the company produced, the point is that in my country if someone knows that one is listening to Kpop, then they assimilate that it is BTS only because they are the most famous.

@@eveleein I don’t think oppachannel has a problem with that… They probably mean more so about people who focus on the superficial elements. Of course the visual and imagery side is important, but a lot of reactions are very surface level and will just say “oh pretty” “that’s creepy” etc etc without diving deep into details.

No matter how many idols may be using classical pieces in their song, red velvet always the best one out there. The one who started it with that beautiful melody.

Truthfully, this is the best Red Velvet song ever. So many layers, so intricately and meticulously composed and the lyrics blends so well with the mood of the melodies. Let's not talk about the mv. The visual is out of the world. Very quality produce from SM.

Totally agree with Kevin. RV’s songs always have been somewhere between attractive melodic aspects and weird absurd harmonic aspects. Some songs like bad boy or psycho were perfect but some were like crazy psychic sounds like they lost their real identity which is that they are ‘songs’. This one def. has the musical core.

Red Velvet has always been experimental in the best ways. Love that they don’t sound like any other girl groups out there, including themselves in previous releases. They have the best discography IMO.

The fact that this MV be only defined by reveluv fans, classical musician and art historian SM is the kpop standard

When we say Red Velvet is in their own lane, THIS is what we mean. This song is such a welcome beginning to spring. I love how it reminds me of Hello Future (Hello Baroque period), and how it’s elegant and pops hard at the same time. Two critiques: 1. I wish the song had a beautiful outro to tie everything together. The key change is amazing but it’s so short. 2. I wish this era lasted longer, rip 💀 Need an orchestral version asap‼️‼️‼️

What I love about SM Entertainment's girl groups is that their versatility is at the highest level than other kpop groups. They are not afraid to try different concepts hence, they were always willing to come out of their comfort zones to make high quality music. And this song made me stan Red Velvet (was only a casual listener of Red Velvet at first) I hope that it is not too late to stan them and will continue to make good music. I was able to hear them perform Feel My Rhythm live and it was breath-taking.

it's always so fun to be a red velvet fan, you never really know what they're going to give you next, but you know it's going to have that signature unique classiness. too often in modern kpop do companies try to make their artists' songs so different that it just ends up sounding like random samples thrown together. with red velvet, it's always unique, but incredibly polished

AIr on G String is my favorite classical music. There's just something so hauntingly beautiful about it that's just so sooo good. Having Red Velvet sampling Air so faithfully and expertly is just 😭😭 what a title track, such an excellent piece!

I agree with Rachel that Feel My Rhythm is an instant favorite right out of the gate. It takes me a while to form an opinion on most of RV's songs, but this and Psycho are maybe the only two I didn't need even a second listen to fall in love with. As of right now, Feel My Rhythm is a Top Five RV song for sure.

바흐의 음악을 베이스로 해서 우아하면서도 상큼한 느낌을 주려고 한게 인상적이었고, 그걸 다시 바흐의 깊고 웅장한 느낌으로 승화시킨 매우 복합적이고 특이한 노래라는 생각. 그런데 이것들이 어색하지 않고 한데 어우러져 아주 괜찮은 하모니를 이루어냈다는데 칭찬을 해주고 싶음.

I mean SM entertainment breaks so many controversial, facing so many criticism and setting so many new trend just because they want to promote the music they produced and create So YES I agree with you that even though SM entertainment is not longer the most profitable company and their artists not longer alway dominating the No 1 place when people talking about kpop, but I still believe SM entertainment is genuinely want to and happy to just making Good, heart shaking, music 🎶

I never understood when sam said that he had never heard a classical piece so faithfully sampled ... now I know basically he means that most artists just sample the cool parts of a classical piece instead of the full piece ..

Bridge starts prolonging vi of Db (not a complete key change but the harmony/color changes a lot), and then Joy's 2nd half of the bridge goes back to Db as the tonal center, and then the final chorus goes up to Eb! :)

레벨 노래 떴을 때 이분들 좋아할 것 같다 생각했는데 진짜 좋아하시네 역시 전문분야가 나오니까 엄청 신나보이신다

When I first heard this song I was so confused prolly bc I felt that the mv is a bit overwhelming. Then they dropped the performance video and I was more confused bc the straight forward visual of the perf vid made me see the song on a different light, which I didn't expect. It's like I finally understand classical and Kpop. 13:53 I just realized that this part prolly explained why I felt confused at my first listen. Like the music and the visual is clashing. But thanks to the performance vid I understood it and FMR immediately rose to my no. 1 fave song in the album

I don't know how to describe my feelings. I love Feel my rhythm by Red velvet and I can say that this song is a masterpiece.

I literally cried when the first time I heard this song but idk how to explain.. now if someone asked me again why I'm crying over listening to this song I'll just give this reaction video to them. I still cry pretty much every time I hear this song which is starting to get annoying. 😆 They kept talking about my favorite parts in the reaction, talking about how beautiful they were and yeah I'm just sitting here wiping away tears again. I think my head exploded first time I heard this song. Completely gobsmacked. And that's not even getting into all the art references and outfits !

I like how these musicians arent pretentious and saying like “combining classical music and modern music is a sin”. Its nice to see classically trained musicians enjoy modern spins if classical music

I didn't really enjoy the song when I watch the MV but when I put on headphone and play it on Spotify it hit sooooo differently. Absolutely love it, not really into the rap part but overall I totally understand why Joy loves it so much and believes it to be the best RV song. It is indeed one of the best RV songs (and they have truly good and musically interesting discography).

This is what you got when you combine a wonderful MV, with 5 beautiful angelic lady's which could sing beautifully, and a wonderful piece of music, yess that is too much 😂

In terms of mixing classical music and contemporary K-pop, it's quiet interesting to see how K-pop has evolved since I-Yah(1999, by H.O.T.), which you reacted weeks ago.
