This tournament was good until Asmongold decided to pretend time limits are a good idea. Imagine doing this in Starcraft Brood War. "Whoever has lower supply after 5 minutes loses." Imagine doing this in chess. "Whoever has less pieces after 20 turns loses." Games are what they are. You play them by their own rules.

exactly! totaly agree! It was also very annoying that this tournament got for me at least destroyed with this rule and with his talking through this nice athmosphere. I have played classic the most as a paladin and i exactly know the paladin vs priest duels. This was bullshit.

Chess does have a time limit in tournaments. Time limits were stupid in this tournament.

Unless it was predetermined that the judges could change the rules at any time then they aren't allowed to, period, no argument, no discussion. If this was a for-money tournament then rule-bending and changes should NEVER be allowed unless everyone who entered agreed to it before it began. The organizers of this event should be banned from running this kind of catastrophe ever again and in my opinion should be punched in the face. You had this tournament won. Don't let anyone try to cheat you like this in the future. Stand your ground, Savix.

Oh man that makes me sad you got super robbed at the end. New rules means priest auto wins. They basically said fuck pallies priest gets it. I went to bed while they were deciding new rules and I didn't know the outcome of what was picked. Super excited to see some juicy Savix PvP when classic comes around. If you haven't you should check out Perplexity's private server PvP videos. You can do some crazy stuff at max level PvP as rogue and all the classes really in classic.
