Wow! I just found from listening to Happy Console Gamer that he is a big fan of Triston on the Sega Genesis. I’m like”.. what? has he returned from the galaxy space arcade??? Upon further listening to Knight Eagle on proper studio headphones, it does sounds plenty analogue, but I had to mention the tape VST just in case. Heck I might even record it and process it just for fun , WOOOO!!

Hey mark show yourself on your camera. You could be the Joe Rogan of gaming but you have to show yourself lol

Mark, a quick tip, to get that authentic 80s analogue sound, run your tracks through a tape saturation VST. There are a couple of free ones that are amazing, My go to free vst is Sender Spike, Signal Noise SN03-G. You can really get that low end bump boost, by tweaking the EQ and that magic saturation of tape. You can also use a wow and flutter plugin to make it more authentic but use sparingly. I also trim the high end EQ using a filter, to simulate analogue warmth, as modern recordings can sound overly bright. Keep the tunes coming.
