Bewitched is an American fantasy sitcom television series that originally aired for eight seasons on ABC from September 17, 1964, to March 25, 1972. A beautiful witch named Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery) meets and marries a mortal named Darrin Stephens (originally Dick York, later Dick Sargent). While Samantha complies with Darrin's wishes to become a normal suburban housewife, her magical family disapproves of the mixed marriage and frequently interferes in the couple's lives.

One note about the cat in the tree - that was actually the next door neighbor, Miss Parsons. That Reactor car sure got around on TV in the 60s! Star Trek used it as well as Batman when it was dressed up as the Catwoman car! It cracked me up in the committee meeting when all of the older women got into 60s muscle cars instead of more conservative vehicles! Haha!

I spent a lot more time than I should have, trying to prove it a Ranch Wagon. It is a Police car after all, wouldn't it be the bottom rung? I checked out the 1970 Ford Police vehicles brochure and 'chure enuf there is (was) a Country Sedan cop car. Looked closer at the video and it does appear to say Country on the rear fender, Sedan being broken off. Then I notice it has full wheel covers and decide, it's *not* a cop car at all, just a studio prop! 🥴

Especially in the Salem episodes! Pontiac and Ford were well represented.

@cheaptricked it's by design, the female voice sounds very much like Sam. It's one of the cool features of these videos.

I noticed an awfullot of Chevys in their show...they obviously had a deal with a local Chevrolet dealership, or GM , to provide them with free cars for the show , to get free advertizing. I wish I had one of those Camaro SS's now....

Chevrolet was the show's biggest sponsor. There were even commercials with Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick York in character as Samantha and Darren talking about "the new Chevrolets..."

I need to make a correction for you. The woman who you refer to as Mrs Stevens whose cat was stuck in a tree, is not Mrs Stevens. Mrs Stevens was played by Mabel Anderson.
