Bale was incredible when he switched from fullback to attacking midfielder. His pace, strength and goal scoring ability was up there with the very best. He could run all game, with little fatigue. One of the PL greats imo.

@@medelhavskorv7947 As much as i loved Scholes and Shrek, i just cant displace anyone up top for Rooney and in the middle i figure thinking critically, Gerrard and Lampard can be interchangeable as can Keano and Vieira. Believe me leaving Rio out hurt, but Rio would have to replace Terry and i cant see that happening bc Vidic in my eyes is a MUST have. Vieira is more technical and more tactical in my eyes, but Keano has that brawler fighting never say die attitude, similar to Gerrard, that i just cant leave out. tbh we could go back and forth all day bro, especially if were allowed more than 1 United player, id have Becks and Evra in too

To be fair, Chelsea was a pretty defensive team that rarely concede shots and he rarely has to make any saves in a game. As opposed to de gea who had to constantly makes save after save since utd's defense is sub par. This is only based on watching utd and chelsea on recent times tho so statistically I could be wrong.

You know I think you could make an argument that a Man United All Time Premier League XI would be better than the team picked here (without United players so Hazard instead of Ronaldo). I always think it’s crazy how Rooney gets overlooked in these discussions. All time top goal scorer for Manchester United and England, but he just seems to be forgotten. Absolutely world class at his peak and was partly ruined by how good of an all-round player he was. Ferguson started to play him out of position because he was that confident in him that he could adapt unlike other players

@@Anonymous-xr8hx Lee Dixon have more epxeirece and he was better than Ivanovic in his prime while Vidic and Bruce are almost same in role but Bruce was a beast.

I think they did a pretty good job. That was one hell of a team they picked.

Cant pick any utd players. I'm not a utd fan bit some of the players they have had walk into this team.

Bosingwa was the best right back. He had some outstanding seasons under Ancelotti. People only remember his last couple of years when he seemed to completely lose it.

There are a lot of RBs who were very good, but maybe only for a couple seasons, where most of their career were pretty average. Like what ZolaMagic25 said, Bosingwa was incredible for a couple years. Also, Glen Johnson was absolutely amazing for a few years at Portsmouth and Liverpool, and was probably one of the world's best right backs at the time, though people don't seem to remember it. Lauren was almost the perfect right back in terms of his all-round ability. Steve Finnan was in the PFA TOTY 3 years in a row for Fulham, and that's before he won the Champions League with Liverpool. Stephen Carr somehow managed to get into TOTY twice whilst at an average Spurs, ahead of G.Neville in his prime years winning titles with Utd. But there was a time where Ivanovic was not only solid defensively at RB, but getting double figures in both goals and assists, so for that period alone, it has to be him.

@@sk0nz Bergkamp would be perfect. Bergkamp is a passing God. Shearer mastered positional play and getting in the best positions. Bergkamp made Ian Wright and Thierry Henry 10x better, because if they made the run, they knew Bergkamk would make the pass. So Bergkamp would be perfect for a player like Shearer
