Police attempted to disperse demonstrators and people were seen being detained. The 84-30 vote has cleared the way for the bill to become law. The draft now goes to the president, Salome Zourabichvili, who has said she will veto it, but her decision can be overridden by another vote in parliament, which is controlled by the ruling party and its allies. Government critics and western countries have criticised the new bill as authoritarian and Russian-inspired

The "No Leader Movement" was also said in Hong Kong, Myanmar, and Ukraine. It has nothing to do with "democracy" but everything to do with "global geopolitics". This model can be used across culture and geography aiming at "regime change" for the "alliance" of WWIII

It's not about transparency. It's about it being a Russian law passed by a Pro-Russian government which aligns Georgia closer to Russia and farther from the EU.

Some Georgians probably don't even know the text and scope of the law, all they know is that their government, at the very least, deems this law more important than EU accession, and are demonstrating against thwarting or delaying the accession process.
