The Card Icon nerf was the most devastating one, the old one looked cool and menacing, like a dangerous Executioner ready to chop your head off, the new one looks goofy as hell

This guy is fr so underrated. He makes a simple game documentary look like a movie while serving us nostalgia with jokes on the side like "Stupid piece of wood🤣"

The executioner has always been my favorite card in the game since he came out. It’s unfortunate that he was overlooked for such a long time, but I’m glad to see him getting some love again!

Hi if i think about it if your favorite card gets reworked this would be very exiting but annoyng beacause this you cant use him in your favorite deck i wodnt even know what deck i would be using when my favorite card gets nerfed so hard that i wodnt even be usable your good beacause you gept executioner your favorite card after all those balances❤️

The executioner is a very simple concept card, but something about him just makes it very fun to play. Perhaps its just satisfying to see the axe go forth and back and kill all the tiny minions. Perhaps the little whirly noise when the axe is spinning. Whatever it may be, i love this card.

It's a similar reason for why I like the giant skeleton. It ain't necessarily good, but it's a giant pile of bones that goes boom.

Wow. This is like going back to an old movie that scared the life out of you when you were a kid. I was playing when the executioner came in and left before the bug fixes . You are literally saying to me that everything about this card I couldn't stand were all bugs. I feel vindicated after all this time. Wonderful documentary.

Me too. I had stopped playing bc this guy was just to annoying and used every game. Recently came back and he is deff not a problem anymore.

Man I wanna say the amount of effort you put into your videos is astounding. Not only the video editing, but also how deep you go into each subject. The only thing I wanna say is that your audio is always kinda low, even when I turn the volume to max I still have some issues hearing you every now and then. But keep up the great work man, amazing videos

I love the idea of executioner being the batman of clash royale, only being popular when a problematic meta happens he even has the mask down

This guy is truly legendary and I mean it. Underrated content as heck.

The 360° axe splash and small stun really felt intended when he came out ngl, before this video i never thought about It and in the back of my head they were still intended features and never thought about them getting removed

I love your videos, they're really good, interesting, educational & full of effort! An idea for a future video - Evolution of core modes (Ladder, 2v2 & Clan Wars), I think that would be a pretty interesting idea for a video since all of those went through a lot since launch, especially Clan Wars!

Awesome video!! I really haven’t played Clash Royale in ages, and i was playing since it came out in the US so seeing old decks and metas is just quite the treat. I think a Bomb Tower or E-Barb video might be fun i dunno! Have a good one

I love how the executioner is portrayed in this video as an obsessive and clingy card, always trying to get the attention of the tornado so that it can have the triumphant relationship it once had with it. It can be seen through it becoming really strong so that the tornado would notice it/feel jealous that the exe no longer needs it, as well as when the exe is really bad so that the tornado will notice it and feel bad, only for them to end up in a functional and non-dependent relationship with each other in the end, kinda romantic lol

The Royal Giant rework made sense because it's issue was clearly the range. But I think the issue with the executioner was more complex so it was harder to balance.

For the 5 years he's existed, he's always been in my deck and he will always stay in my deck

i have great rework idea for executioner just change his axe attack direction, rather than going in strait line and return in same direction, make it like a throwing boomerang in curve direction and he also dont even need tornedo after this change. Could you make a video about the evolution of chests in Clash Royale? I think its a very interesting topic and many weird things are not known widely like for example that you can still see how many cards a free chest contains in a certain arena although the free chest is not in the game anymore since more than 2 years or that with the recent update most arena 20 chests will contain more than arena 15 chests but the arena 20 royal wild chest contains the same as the arena 15 royal wild chest.

Not quite about chests but search Math Royale in the subreddit. And there's a massive effort post about how long it takes to max out for your regular Joe today compared to years ago. It's over 5 years today if you play at 100% efficiency.

ahh, one of my favorite cards, been using him from the weird half stun thing he had when he was added to the picture change to the time he became a firebally killer for a couple of months to that time he got an emergency buff to now where he's just kinda there to compete with wizard

Executioner actually has a place now these days, whether or not tornado exists with the card, the change that increased his tile range helped him be more viable like the bowler when he was given the exact change. With the phoenix being dominant in some of the most annoying decks, the card is now needed more than ever until then.

I'm gonna be honest, I loved this era of the game. Before both the buffs of the witch and exe, I used them anyway. I was stuck in challenger 2, and these buffs helped me get out of that trophy range, and plus lavaloon was dead, so that's always a win.

I'd love to see one on the royal recruits.

People have mostly maxed out the 42 cards plus the other couple dozen released the next couple years. That's part of the reason SC keeps them weak and prone to Power Creep. To encourage people to spend to max out the newer, stronger cards.
