Honestly, this video made me realize how ridiculously generous the Royale Team was in 2021. I can kind of understand why they backpedaled it a bit, even if I would have preferred they didn’t

But they didn’t just backpedal a bit, they hit the brakes and went full speed in reverse. I got back into the game in 2021 and maxed out around 20 cards and had all cards unlocked but I stopped playing after the update for losers. I would have kept playing even with evolutions if they didn’t make level 15 even more p2w then it would have normally been and if they didn’t raise the price AND severely nerf pass Royale

I remember getting my first ever legendary from a gold chest maybe 5 years ago when I was in middle school. I was so excited, I told all my friends, my parents, and even my teacher. Good times.

I started playing the the first week it released in US. I remember all this stuff and the absolute grind to level cards. The early days of CR were some of my best gaming memories. We had the same 25-30 people in my clan for years and the chat was always active, we became like a big family and would rally to get the clan chest and help each other with replays and tips. Now I don't know anyone in my clan because people come and go so often and no one uses chat. Pretty sad looking back at it now. Also rip tourneys. I used to have clan tourneys every month. Now I have a ton of gems and nothing to spend them on. Bring back tourneys

31:59 Fun fact: The Epic Chest actually only looked like this because of a bug. The purple details were just added on top of the giant chest, and since THAT chest was made smaller, they forgot to change the epic chest as well and it looked off.

yeah i remember playing this game in 2016 and haven't touched it since then but after coming back to it, it had changed so much that i had to watch a history video of it. and wow the history is so much more intense, they changed it so many times because I am a clash of clans player I am not used that much kind of change. since the clash of clans developers i feel like a really good and the gem system has never really failed in clash of clans

I think the stat at 6:50 is wrong, it should be even less than 45%. Using a binomial distribution where n = 3, p = 0.152, and x > 0, you get a 39% chance (p(x>0) = 0.390199808 🤓). You can also imagine this as 1 minus the probability of *not* getting a legendary three times in a row: 1 - 0.858^3 = 0.39. Idk tho and honestly it doesn’t matter at all I just thought it was interesting 😅 Also I could just be wrong lmao

I opened a tower chest yesterday. It was an instant unlock after winning a battle and gave me 15 cards… 15 tower cards when I’m level 14 which changed into elite wild cards.

31:13 daily task got an f2p update which now has lucky drop similar to brawl stars Starr Drop. The rewards are pretty good like wild cards, Elite Wild Card (Legendary drop allows upgrade one card from lvl 14 to 15) and most important books the Book of Books. Evolution shard also here too

I remember getting an Inferno Dragon out of the free chest. I thought it was the craziest thing at the time. Freaked tf out lol.
