Jeremy should have been impaled after that....:( Not because he got a difficult question wrong but that he, arrogantly, assumed he was right and, unintentionally, did the contestant up like a kipper. It's bad enough losing the money without someone telling you that you have won it.....lol

I don't care what people say, Clarkson was a great host for these specials. Couldn't stop laughing when he thought the answer was deer and said 'I'm not even gonna look at the screen, that's the correct answer' and then it appeared wrong HAHAHA XD

The prizes are so big though. Other game shows like The Chase, Pointless and Tipping Point have much smaller prizes so they are easier to run weekly.

Missed some: "No rush. Well, except my car's on the meter." and when friend nearly didn't pick up: "-You there? -Yeah, sorry, my security guards... - We're not interested..."

Clarkson did an incredible job of hosting the show. His banter brings a lot to the show but doesn't get in the way or overshadow the serious element of the questions

The best one was a recent one when a woman in the audience coughed and he said "I haven't started asking the question yet."

I’d LOVE to see this show come back as a regular series. Clarkson was absolutely fantastically funny. The Ibex question was such a funny moment.

I love Jeremy but that was an awful mistake by not checking. Imagine being told you have won a lot of money or got a Promotion or some great news and THEN being told it was a mistake....

This is what all game shows need! Some good comedy!

These 7 episodes made me really happy. I used to watch Millionaire a lot since its launch in my country in 1999. I loved the classic format with regular people as contestants and I especially loved the original sound design and the atmosphere as a whole. I had stopped watching Millionaire when they made it celebrities-only. It happened ages ago in Russia and the show still goes on, in the studio that barely looks like a Millionaire one and with completely different sound design, so the show has just lost its dramatism. And, you know, it isn't very interesting to watch millionaires trying to win just another million, even if it's for charity. I've watched some American episodes as well and I couldn't even recognize the Millionaire I knew. All those timers, shuffles and stuff, you don't need that. ...And you've brought the classics back! That's what made me happy. I'm so grateful. I love the new studio, the new host (actually, Jeremy Clarkson being the one was the reason that had drawn my attention to the show again), the format changes. Ask The Host really feels like it was made specifically for Jeremy. The only problem I saw was the graphic design, especially fonts. It doesn't look great when each digit in "11" (in the questions ladder) uses different fonts. Why not just use the original font? And, for some reason, the amount of money the contestant currently won isn't shown anymore. I can't tell if Jeremy is better than the original UK host Chris Tarrant or the original US host Regis Philbin or not. But they all are definitely better than both Russian hosts, especially now. Even if Jeremy didn't know the correct answers when contestants asked him, he made the show entertaining. Even despite the fact that I live in another country and speak another language. Please keep this up. We want to see more jokes by Jeremy and more contestants with some general knowledge. :^)
