Nisa Park at first she was his crush, then gradually became his love. That proves “Blank” episode when he lost all his memories. He didn’t remember Lana, but *did remember* his *feelings* for her. “The heart remembers more than brain” (c) Chloe Sullivan

_'I'm not going anywhere. For the first time in my life, I have everything I've ever wanted, and it's right here on this farm with you.'_ It could have been 'Crisis' scene. Clark lives as an ordinary man with his wife and kids. During the whole 'Smallville' people used to call Lana bitch who hold our future superhero back, but Lois was the one who inspired him to become Superman. BUT! When it turned out Clark eventually rejected his abilities to have a family, the audience suddenly changed their mind because it turned out being a normal person is more important than being a superhero. C'mon. You changed your mind because it was Lois. If it were Lana, you would throw tomatoes at her. Hypocrites! 1) Lana could make him fly as Lois (the beginning of 'Metamorphosis' after the screesavor); 2) She made him save both Chloe and the rest of the world in 'Legion' (although the guys from future stated it was impossible) as Lois could make him do such deeds. 3) Lana _knew_ someday Clark would have to leave all his beloved ones forever to meet his destiny. She knew he was afraid of being alone. So Lana who was deternined not to hold him back decided it would be better if she changed herself (not vice versa) not to let him be alone. She didn't need those abilities without him. Then Lana lied him and everyone she did it for herself, not for Clark because she didn't want someone would blame him. Pay attention, I _don't_ belittle Lois' good deeds. On the contrary, I state she is one of the best Smallville female characters. But I strongly disagree she was THE ONE AND ONLY person who inspired Clark or her merits were THE BEST OF THE BEST.

And about Lois who according to Clark was the only person who made him feel normal. Why couldn't Clark feel normal withthe other people he loved? *Lana.* The meteor shower killed her parents. Clark couldn't forgive himself. And even after she accepted him for who he is ('You are still the same Clark Kent to me' (c) Lana, season 6, episode 22), deeply down a feeling of guilty could be there. *Chloe.* In season 8 of episode 22, Jimmy was killed by Davis, whom Clark had previously refused to kill. He knew it wasn't his fault. Nevertheless, his heart did not let it go ('I am the reason Jimmy died'). A feeling of guilty was there. *Martha and Jonathan.* From the very childhood of Clark, they forbade him a lot, fearing that something would happen to someone ('You guys always thought I was not normal'" (c) Clark, 5 season 3 episode). Now about those with whom Clark felt normal. *Lois.* 'The only thing that ever made me feel normal is you'. He has never been involved in the death of any of her beloved ones (unlike the cases with Lana and Chloe). Plus, she was never afraid that he might harm someone (unlike his parents). *Alicia.* 'There's a part of me that never feels freer than when I'm with Alicia. She makes me feel normal and special at the same time'. As with Lois, Clark was never involved in the death of any of her (Alicia's) beloved ones. Plus, as Lois, she was never afraid that he would harm anyone. Plus she was just like him: special.

Star crossed lovers they will always be. I would have had their episodes in this season all be amazing. No conflict. No arguments. No Lana taking on Clark’s powers and going bad, no Bizarro Phantom Clark manipulating her, no having Lionel tortured or spying on Lex, just 15 episodes of bliss. Then Lex find out about Clark’s secret. Comes to the Kent barn takes Lana hostage. Figures out what Clark is allergic to. Makes kryptonite bullets. Tries to kill Clark then Lana jumps in front of him and she takes the bullet. Then Clark and Lana have their final moments in their loft where they had their very first meeting in 1x02 Metamorphosis and she tells him she loves him and will always be with him. That’s the way it should have ended. Fanfic lol 😂 Anyways just my opinion
