Ah, this explains it. I was wondering why war all of sudden felt harder. I knew of the changes but I didn't realize that even smaller counts can put up a fight. I was really used to just steamrolling with countering MAA and stacking a couple buildings for those early wars but that doesn't work as well anymore it seems. Thank you for the video!

​@@llosgfynydd9043 You can buy a microphone from Fifine which will give you the best sound quality and pay just a few dollars for it. You don't need expensive microphones like the ones they recommended for you. The Chip is better, and because it is Chinese it is much more advanced, you will not pay more for European Marketing, and you will receive a quality product. “The product is expensive because it has value, or it has value because it is expensive.” and here is the paradox of European products, which are expensive and have no value. After rewatching some videos I wonder, realistically speaking, what is the highest regiment size, I know that archers/crossbows have the highest limit, the highest size I got I think it was a 3.2k varangian regiment without military academies, so maybe "max" size archer regiments can reach 4k per regiment? Maybe then one can possibly field 36k men at arms

1 thing to remember is that the building slots arent gone forever. u unlock them as u progress through the ages. so rebellions and stuff will be very hard in the early game. but they should be easier to deal with in the the late game. since then u can have all the eco buildings as well as all the military buildings all in every county.

Very good point. However most people's games rarely enter the late game. However, once you're there it is plain sailing

Makes sense historically as well since states centralized more as time went on.

Really interesting, it will certainly change up the game, i hope its for the better. I really enjoy playing tall so i hope this wont nerf it too much

To be fair tall was super super super op. It should be weaker than going wide as more land/population is more power most of the time in real life. Some small duchy shouldn't be able to stand up to the entire holy Roman empire

Catas, in RP game - East Rome is Christian so your enemy are Asharits in the dry lands; Monaspa is the other way if you want to help Islam to Create Ottaman Empire, bruh. (i am european)

Little did he know nothing changed because 1 type of maa is always best baseline so you just stack that one and buff the hell out of them. (Usually varangian veterans or some other heavy infantry, because your can buff them the most through cultural traditions.)

for that gameplay you need to control every county with every new heir - good luck wasting time for micromanagement in 867 year start. META players are the worse - always on their way to get rid of FUN in th game.
