What you say is about half true. He died of a disease contracted in France, he died relatively young. He wasn't overthrown over the issue of slavery but it was certainly a factor. Ya, it's really sad. He spent every ounce of strength on Brazil, mostly unwillingly and out of a deep sense of duty and yet still, with his dying breath his only wish is for God to fulfill what he could not when could've so easily cursed his life.

I love how Frederick Barbarossa takes the loss really well and gives his best wishes to me and the empire I will build, rather than calling me immoral and an evil person.

If you think about it Georgia being conquered ha resulted in good things. They have been conquered by almost every main old world empire and as a result have an amazing complex culture. They created Eastern Orthodoxy under Roman/Byzantine rule. What remains of Georgia from before they fell are the Khevsuretti and they didn’t make a huge influence on Georgia, and definitely couldn’t hold it.

It’s baffling how the devs can pay so much attention to detail to get people who can speak the language as the leader actually would have spoken it, but then for Harald Hardrada, they just sort of assumed he followed the Norse religion. For the last time, Harald was Catholic!!!

Kudos to the language accurateness indeed but some of the translation work aren't that accurate according to info shared by kind souls from various natives 😅 As for the Viking, pretty sure their origin religion was old norse at the beginning then eventually christianity on settlements they raid later.

Harald Hardrada the first Viking King who United the other Viking nations into one great empire leads Norway in civ six he certainly was not catholic. Catholicism was still building up when he was alive. I think you are thinking of a different Harald Hardrada

Exactly, he could even get a bonus to army combat depending on the number of cities he has, the less he has the better his units are! Kyösti Kallio was also leader of Finland during the winter war, I think that would be my first pick. And also, for Austria, probably Franz Josef? He led Austria-Hungary during WW1, he's not exactly a great leader, but he's recognizable to some degree.

I'm a Jew and I know Hebrew, and I also know Phoenician letters are the roots of the Hebrew letters, since it is Canaan that written in the Bible of the Hebrew people. I think it's a nice detail too. If I remember correctly 🤔 I think It's because Phoenicians are believed to have come from modern day Lebanon, and since it was in very close proximity to ancient cultures of what would now be modern day Israel it makes sense they would share some aspects of language

@@ikigaofficial Yeah 秦始皇 is technically his title. 嬴政 is his most personal name. They could have made him even more handsome 😅 I absolutely love the ◥👘◤ triangular shoulders similar to かたきぬ, though. Unfortunately the earliest semblance to sharp-shoulder garments (through different incarnations, whether vests, shawls, collars, &c) (and with more-or-less simplicity or exaggerated curvature) that I could find date to Sui-Tang Era: tinyurl.com/y3tkhrvp (Various 半臂, 罩甲, 褙子, &c.) I learned new thing everyday especially on the fashion part for ancient China 😁👍 Yes, I like that sharp pauldron robe too it has this "magnificent" vibe to it, fitting properly on Emperor Qin. Also yea I agree whichever era earlier than a specific age due to its vague historical records/lack of artifacts references, today's developer just gotta blatantly exaggerate the design out of it as if that's the real deal but then again for audience amusement those design (let it be fashion, furniture, daily tools, accessories etc) from the earlier age is definitely looking dull and unattractive realistically so yea 😅

I’m a Khmer people and the wrong translation from the game is wired because the word doesn’t go with the defenation he said. Because the emperor said we in Khmer yerng ( write in English without translation ) and the beginning start បុគ្គលមានចិត្ត សន្តោះគង់បារាជ័យ mean that’s people have feelings if he worry he will fail, that’s how he mean. But dang you got all in one video that’s would take a lot of time.
