@@kevintrang3007 they used Portuguese flintlocks and copy’s of said guns for almost the entirely of the edo period while the rest of European nations and some non European nations were progressing with muskets and rifles. Only till after Commodore Perry forcefully opened up Japan did they start having guns that were on par with everyone else.

@@XX-sp3tt The AI seems to have this thing in Civ games where it just flat-out gives up if the civ it controls loses its original capital. It seems to no longer try to win. Maybe it decides there are no victory conditions within its reach? It's odd

That preserve surrounded by 3 wonders, a dam, a harbor and an encampment was definitely game winning

I guess it was impossible for any Civ to develop the tunnel technology and expand outside the ring

All the area outside of the mountains was owned by some non player, so they couldn’t settle it anyway

Those forest fires on the western side of the map are absolutely gigantic and insane firestorms. Could you imagine if you were caught in the middle of something like that in reality?! Besides most likely burning to death in an instant just from the heat alone (like a water droplet on a hot stove), it would probably be the closest you could get to experiencing hell itself while still alive (not for long of course). Running away from it will only get you so far with these Civ 6 fires rolling around their maps like tumbleweed. Anyways… cool scenario!! 👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽👍🏽

The description flavor for this battle is so sick. Eight souls returning from post-life nothingness into another plane, but only one gets to stay. Good movie concept!

Why was that? Is there some shitty forest fire dlc? That’s why I don’t buy dlc, it usually makes the game worse or more complicated .

This video reminding me of a city I got after winning a war in early game, then spend the rest of the game just to defending that city till modern age and able to move on after countless war just to defend that one city. I don't know why the ai want that one city so bad T_T

The AI is terrible at war. So many times they lost cities for no reason whilst half their army sat stationary on the other side of the nation. Dumb.

I actually was cheering for green simply cause that's my go to color. Now i wish I could have placed a bet as well...

The Japan AI must have been more into the diplomacy/Culture victory path. They didn't really challenge other AIs very much and played a more defensive/passive posture than I normally see with a Japan AI. Usually they're surgical and direct when they want something.

Problem of this AI is, it is no AI. It is just Script. It does not adapt. It follows its core Motive regradless of its usefulness - and this Motive is not even adapting to the Enviroment. All of this is compensated with further Bonuses CPU gets on higher difficulty.

Yeah really! I have been wanting these maps to be used for human player war maps. See who can win a Domination Victory type of thing. Probably find people who will speedrun the living daylights out of such maps too!
