I loved the awesome rivalry between Germany and Rome. No clue how the Romans managed to fail so hard in production compared to the Germans though

This is one of my favourite episodes, the oasis idea is great because he funnels all the civs capitals close to each other, making for some sick ass gamplay Thats right Tom, and that ending battle between the 3 super states was earth shattering

Wow Rome survived off the back of tech advantage for so long. They had total air supremacy for so long, it's a shame they didn't capitalize on that more.

When Germany spawned next to the Aztecs who had 6 cities, I worried frantically When Germany had inferior land troops and no air force compared to Rome at the onset of the Great War for the Oasis, I silently freaked out When Germany started losing Warsaw and Krakow (5:00) in the war against Rome, I thought it was over When Germany had 0 troops and Rome somehow had more troops, taking Cardiff, Truror and Dubiln (5:14), I accepted Germany's fate When Germany managed to retake Warsaw, and build up forces, I became relieved and cheered for Germany again When Germany built up a surprise force and took Kyoto, I knew it was over for Japan. Germany, after so long You actually fucking did something Good job I rooted for you since the beginning

I thought the Aztecs had Germany in the bag, and that the game was over when they got the great wall. Germany won this time, good job Bismarck

From 2:38 onwards to 5:47, it feels like the Three Kingdom period in Chinese history. (Actually, the whole video feels like a story about three kingdoms coming to power as warlords, taking over other cities/territories, while trying to unify the whole region.) Had the two lesser-powered states unify and defend themselves against the more powerful state for a little bit longer - instead of fighting each other at 3:28, they might have survived longer and have a chance to win.

1:37 Montezuma loses capital to Germany was the game winning point. Montezuma looked really solid and has normally a great mid/late game. Also Rome would have been way to strong in the end if neither of those two sides would have won and wasted resources on each other.

The "Roman Army" was just two dosens of Anti-Aircraft Guns and a bunch of Artilleries. So the Panzers deleted them.

I was rooting for Germans but never actually believed they would make it. Rome was so technologically superior! Romans built so many planes! Also Aztecs at one point grew as much as Romans, I thought, Germany, would be smashed from two sides. AI is really missing so many oportunities!

Germany's unique trait in this game gives them a huge advantage militarily. Once it was Rome vs Germany, I knew that Germany was going to win because they can sustain a large military much cheaper than Rome could.

It was a 3 way war. But for each war it was really Rome fighting on 2 fronts more.

Rome had numerical superiority near the end but Germany had tech superiority which allowed them to produce tanks and turn the tide (even though Warsaw got rekt)

God damn it all. Now I need to play Civ V again.

Wish the end screen was Caesar looking sad after defeat. It's a glorious sight

I find it funny that Rome suddenly completely stopped producing units. All they built was bombers/fighters, and that allowed germany to just stomp them

I thought at first its the Pnazer but really its Rocket artillery. 5:10-20, just 10 seconds and a few turns youll see that Germany prioritised rebuilding army, but Rome seems not to produce any army except helicopter and bombers. It's a mistake. Just 30 secs ago they are winning the war and then within a few secs in this video Rome has fallen, which is vulnerable in the first place.
