I’m 68 and watched football since I was 6/7 years old. . Kevin is quite simply the best midfielder I have ever seen…ever! Goal scorers get the attention and wards but Kevin makes the game beautiful without question my favourite player of all time.

I’ve watched football for 16 years now I’m 24 … Kevin has to be top 3 best players I’ve ever seen play football… Ronaldo being first , Michael Ballack and David silva … I was lucky enough to watch David silva play irl at the 2010 World Cup!!! As it was played in my home country South Africa !!!

It's crazy to think Kevin de bruyne has 98 assists in 229 appearances and Steven Gerrard has 92 assists in 504 appearances, imagine Kevin de bruyne joined city two years earlier he'd be nearly level with Ryan Giggs by now

I shed a few tears when he asked what has Manchester city given Kevin as a man and as a player. That moment made me feel that he has come a longg way in his career and that of the club. I still remember when we signed him, was hyped af and thank God he delivered. Few years from now i can say thank you Kevin. You are most probably the best ever in a city shirt and i will forever cherish watching you play while I had the time💙

When Kevin played his first games with Genk back in 2009, we all saw that he had something special about him. Of course, good with his feet, knowing where everyone is on the pitch, seeing passlines that no other player at the time could see. I always thought we had a gem of a player back then, although didn't think he would be one of the best in the world. The years after that he only got better before, but Chelsea was not a suitable club for him imo, especially with a coach like Mourinho. But in the end you could say it was the correct choice because simply built up a wonderful career afterwards. I also think that one the big reasons he did so well afterwards at all the other clubs he joined is they did believe in him. Just having the right people around you that believe in you can do wonders, if you already have the talent KDB has of course. Just a wonderful player and person. Greetings from Genk
