City of Dallas: Peterbilt 337 Pak Mor Rear Loader
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Exactly a year ago I saw four of these new CNG units at a Peterbilt dealership and thought it was cool that the city was buying them. I finally saw one on route back in November in another part of town but never had the time to track in down until I saw this truck the previous week in this Monday collection area and decided to come back and film it this time. One of my favorite things about this truck was the packing cycles plus the Pak Mor body.
Thanks to the crew for being cool with me filming.

N.E.Arkansas Trash Trucks&Lottery Thanks! I agree!
The one on green vest forgot to check 1 trash can
Awesome find! Love that truck, I also enjoyed the packing cycles. The fact that they were collecting recycle made it even more entertaining. Great video! A like and favorite for sure!!

Keep the hopper clean but good work.
I love seeing Dallas truck videos, good catch! Where was this neighborhood? It looks a little nicer than most dallas neighborhoods haha

Thanks man! This neighborhood was in north Dallas off of Abrams Rd, and Fair Oaks Ave.
Interesting operation but kind of disappointed with the amount of debris they left behind, noise they made bouncing carts around, and the fact that the city bought a semi automated truck and semi automated 65gal carts, and the guys operate like it's fully manuAl. I see manually dumping little 35 gal carts but these look like it would cause back pain down the road.

Os caras saem largando lixo (folhas de papel) pelo chão. Cadê o treinamento?
OK a few things, why don't they use the flippers on this truck more often? if its because its faster to dump the carts by hand, then they're going to pay for that later with injuries. would it kill them to run the cycle more often? Are these workers city employees or temps? and where are the safety classes? If you wanna see pro's at work check out wmautoreach123 channel.

+I94SOUTH I was wondering the same thing. I think maybe they are showing off for the camera. The guy on the left is always watching it and dropping stuff. I would think the residents would be upset at the noise of them throwing around the containers also. Safety - holding onto the material while it's being cycled?!

1 the bins are not that even heavy probably 50 at most I won’t Hurt you to lift them I do it all the time 2 the residents should be happy that they get this service 3 what is so unsafe 4 it is more safe to hold the material into the trunk then going under the truck to pick it up

I did some heavy lifting work for my employer. I was given safety equipment and it was excited to be used. I got injured and I was honest and told that I didn't use the equipment. 53 and I have so much arthritis. Although the trash truck designers could do a better job designing the trucks flipping equipment so it comes out at the first flip each and every time like the trucks in Europe. Also, much higher Soto do it by hand would not be possible.

work smart not hard. lifting the cans after a few days your arms hurt and run the packer more often
make a mess unloading the cart by hand till u change your mind and put it on the lifter. u keep working this hard u will have joint problems later on. a very hard working but dumb crew
