Spring Series 2013: Republic Services Cart Delivery

As many of you know by now, Barberton goes automated June 1. Republic has had crews working in the city to deliver carts for a little while now, and I was finally able to catch up with one on Saturday morning. This is the same Ford F-Series that I filmed a couple years ago when they delivered carts and bins for my city. What's kind of funny is the guy that is rolling them off in this video was driving back when they delivered my city. The driver is also one of the guys who used to work my route back when it was done with a rear loader. I hope you guys enjoy this video, as it's not too common to see roll out footage on here. If any of you guys ever have roll outs taking place in your area, please try to film them!

Yeah, the blue is sharp looking IMO. Yeah RL is fun to watch, at least they will still be running the alleys with a rear loader. Thanks man, glad you enjoyed the video!

Yep, it's fun to watch and it works well. They do take up some space, but this is a lot quicker then building them as they go, They built them and stuck them at the sewer plant so they could easily run over and grab a load. They can get about 50 carts in a load. We have a couple new curottos due in at the end of the month, but I'm anticipating them to be McNeilus...

The carts were delivered on a Saturday morning. This area is collected on Wednesday.

This was filmed in Barberton, Ohio. Hopefully I will get to film the pythons again in a week or two.
Pretty cool system of one guy in the lift gate and man with the wheels on it takes up alotta space back there i wonder if you guys will get any of the new heil FLs

So is this cart for garbage, recycling, and green waste? Or is there a separate bin for recycling?

Depends. For Republic Services, if they are entirely blue or blue with a black lid its for garbage. Recycling ones are either brown, or with a green lid.

These are for garbage and yard waste. The 64g green carts are for recycle.
What is that green cart on the truck for?

I like the color of the bins !! Whos the maker of the bins? I wish you were staying RL automated is not as interesting to me as rear loaders are atleast to me you don't get to see any compacting just a bin lifed up and dumped quiet boring.Not saying your films are boring at all just automated bin lifts are not very interesting to me i love RLs .This video is good i like this all those new pretty blue bins cool as heck !!
