The newer iteration of 0040 hacks as fretzel (8204 movement - no matter 8203 on the dial) and has a better lume on the markers. It is great that it's in the shadow of Seiko SKX - that makes it extra affordable. Fantastic watch and (among) the most recognizable Citizen designs.

Love Citizens! They’re underrated and, and you’re perfectly allowed not to believe me, yesterday I wrote a song about the “Ecodrive”. Actually, I’d rather no-one believed I wrote a song about a line of watches , because, let’s face it, it don’t get stupider than that. But I did. Dang. Love this video . The NY diver has been my first drool-watch when I got the degenerate disease. Great video!!! Thanks!

Nice Video and great Content . I have a few Citizens and I feel you can" t go wrong with them like Seiko or Casio, it all boils down to your personal preference.

A lot of great citizen options. Maybe would add some dial color diversity- get the blue 1050 (or the 1060), add a The Citizen as a capstone of the collection. Also, have to have a Nighthawk!

Brother, you and I both know we will never be happy. The only watch that we're happy with is the next watch🤣

My old watchmaker who fix all my watches also prefer Citizen movements. Maybe there's more technical reason behind that bias.

Citizen made mechanical movement is better than Seiko in entry class watches, I have a Bulova skeleton watch using the Miyota movement is so accurate at -5/sec a day. I also have an eco drive field watch run +10/sec a month. A very good looking King Seiko turtle seems to have won over the beauty contest in the group but let down with the movement that run crazy at -35/sec a day from start.
