Thank you Sean for this playthrough. It appears to be as good as the previous iteration or better. Just wanted to commend how open and straightforward they are on their Kickstarter regarding availability to retailers and on the Kickstarter campaign.

Ci-Fi version "Root"?

Form a learning how to play perspectiva, do you feel like factions power are closer to the experience on Root or a regular variable habilities bg ?

They aren't quite as different as Root. There are plenty of variations between factions, but mostly you learn the base game and then each faction has a reference card that teaches their peculiarities. So closer to variable player powers, but the difference in scoring between factions elevates it from that a little bit in my opinion.

They're both good, but I'd probably go Root. I just really like Cole Wehrle's designs and I absolutely love Kyle Ferrin's artwork. Plus Root has a ton of expansions, so you can keep it fresh for a really long time.
