I made it! The cake itself was not sweet, but buttery. The sweetness really came from the glaze and the brown sugar mixture. It was the perfect amount of sweetness! Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Family LOVED this cake🎉. I made it 4 days ago and today I’m making it again. Very soft not overly sweet and loved the swirls inside. I believe you get more of the filling in this cake then an actually cinnabar roll. Thank you so much.

Try using 1/2c soften cream cheese and 1/2c powdered sugar instead of a whole cup of powdered sugar. That should balance the sweetness problem.
