Cinema 4D Level-up - Working with Simulation
Welcome to a brand new Hands-on with Maxon Workshop, designed to boost Cinema 4D Artists to the next level of their 3D journey. This series is aimed at designers with an initial understanding of Cinema 4D and over six weeks will dive deeper into the essentials of working with; Modeling, Simulation, Motion, Redshift, and much more.
Throughout these 2-hour sessions Elly and Matt will guide you on your 3D journey where students are invited to follow along with project-based lessons across a wide range of Cinema 4D Tools. Get unlimited access to scene files, assets and session recordings, but not only that, all registrants will benefit from an extended Trial of Maxon One for the duration of the course.
Part 3 - Working with Simulation
- New Simulation Tools (S26); Rope and Cloth
- Other Simulation Tags; Rope Belt, Connector and Collider
- Project Settings (Simulation Settings) for Errors
- C4D's Native Particle Emitter
- Forces and Field Force Object
- Redshift Object Tag (Rendering Particles)

Thanks for all of this great info. I really hope that someday dynamics settings will just be a matter of adjusting properties and not trying to fix polygon freakouts. It should just be stable and smooth right from the start without having to constantly fix the simulation... and sometimes there's no solution

Thanks for the great overview. how can i access the position of the spline points with the new rope sim? Example: I want to attach an object to the end of the spline that picks up the position of the endpoint via xepresso. Problem is that the Point postion of the spline is not updated by the rop simulation.

Can you guys make your audio a little clearer. Many of us who are not native english speaker have a hard time to understand. Please, please improve your room acoustic and use a better microphone. Thanks a lot!

But you guys are begginers why are you posting as professionals? both of you never heard of Baking a simulation and telling it to start at a particular frame and the girl never heard of filters panel. I did found the information useful but I just noticed that someone who knows his shit don't end up full of riculous like you did.. At least be honest about it. I had better expectation from Maxon :)
