Pens may be simple, but deliver quick satisfaction for a job well done. I do all kinds of wood working (it's not a business for me) and I also turn many different items on my lathe, but I'll never stop turning pens for gifts and donations to charitable organizations. Those are lovely! I don't have a pen mandrel. Never turned a pen before. Turned bottle stoppers, they are fun to turn.

Thanks, Bill! It's hard to beat the old wet sanding with micro mesh finish, on resins in particular.

Great pens. Cigar has been my go to for a long time.

The only downside, if you can call it that, is you have rendered me incapable of tossing even the smallest bit of wood out. I think my next project will be more glue that wood. Beautiful pens. I think the consensus is the green one is the best. That's my choice, but they are both excellent. Yes, the Go-Pro head mount sucks. Tri-pod mounted camera work is vastly superior. You did a fair job of keeping the movement down but in my opinion it still isn't good enough. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and remember, when the wood, (resin), goes around the face shield comes down.🙂🙂
