I respect this opinion a lot. I see them getting great in the very near future, they aren't at the level yet (I'm guessing) to win a chip yet, but they have so many great pieces. I know as a Nuggets fan I'm partial, but in a few years I see the Thunder being a buzzsaw for any team to play them.

People compare this Thunder team to the 2011-ish Thunder team, but I think they're closer to the 2016-2017 Celtics who rebuilt so much faster than public expectations. Tatum went into that ECF vs 17 Cavs and Lebron be like, they're saying we're still young and not ready yet. I feel like 'why not this year?' I know that 16-17 Celtics had Horford and some vets but I just feel like they're under similar vibe and situation.

@@sholagagates833 Call this a hot take if you’d like, but I’d take the thunder over all those teams except for the lakers. The warriors aren’t even composed this season in my opinion. The mavs and pelicans are strong but the thunder are heavily underrated with this “they don’t have experience” narrative. To me if you’re not as composed in the playoffs you lose. They don’t give points to age and experience unless you score cause of it. And OKC has proven they perform well under pressure and clutch games than any other team. They have positive record against all those top west teams. If you don’t believe that translates to the playoffs so be it.They ARE gonna prove the narrative wrong just wait and see. I see it the other way: Teams like the warriors need to prove your vets worth.

@@davewu8938 its about the moment I think, if okc wins it without suffering against anyone in first round, then there's going to be a rush in the players and fans, but if they suffer and are losing after 3 or 4 games, I dont see them bouncing back, dont care if is the lakers, gsw, mavs suns or kings, they're jumping from no playoffs to 1st seed and at least top 3 they'll finish, shai has to be a pacer paul george and carry this great team, nothing but luck for okc, I want them winning rings, nothing makes me more happy that seeing teams like denver and milwaukee winning after years of fighting with their same players over the years

He’s not exactly wrong. They very well could push it but playoffs end today that’s a lot to ask for 2nd youngest NBA team with 0 playoff experience. Idc if they are good in regular season. Also SGA is brilliant but good teams, especially in playoffs can try to come up with ways to slow him down.

Chuck is an idiot. OKC already beat Denver 3 out of 4 times and still haven't lost to the Suns this year. What are these guys smokin?? I get the inexperienced part, but OKC's team chemistry is off the charts and nobody else even comes close. Not to mention OKC is one of, I think, two teams that rank in the top 5 of both offense and defense. Give these guys the respect they deserve.

But what happen when it's a best of 7 series can these young inexperience kids make the same shots when every game counts?

NBA needs restructure its MVP award. Its should be an Eastern conference MVP and Western conference MVP there are a lot of other players deserving of that award. SGA west ,and Jalen Brunson East; your team has to be top 4 per conference. It can't be the same players every year. Fans want to see their players recognized.
